And it's him who was choosing this name, which I personally feel a bit half-hearted for such a good map ><

I love this map's features! It has a lot of weird angles, sick grenade throws, good-looking small interiors! And even though the map is pretty small, in it's gameplay it is really big!! Like, a lot of boosts, jumps, well, players will have enough space to play on (^^;

The map supports 32 players, each team having 16 spawns. All spots are named (area's name is shown above the radar), radar overview is, of course, present, too. The map is clean from any scripts and does not change any cvars using entities.

About me porting it — I don't know, feels like a step back or something… There are some problems here and there. Again. Well, it looks like I really can't do maps without them. Like, lighting somewhere is weird, and to fix it there, where it would have been otherwise really inappropriate — I had to greatly increase/decrease lightmap resolution. Also if someone will export resources from it — sorry! I renamed this map a few times, so materials exclusively for it are in "de_desertbase", even though the map's name is "de_desertbase_mc", and in "vlit" folder (vertexlitgeneric materials for use on props) it's called "desertmap". Kind of twisted, isn't it?… And I tried to do "natural" radar overview this time, instead of doing a Valve-styled one. I will be glad if you tell me which type you prefer! ^^
