DB Class V100 Shunter

The DB Class V100 was developed to replace steam locomotives in the late 1950's, designed to mainly operate passenger trains and light good trains on branch lines.

It bears a lot of similarity with its east german DR Class v100 counterpart, but is by design more streamlined and modern looking.

This particular train pulls no coaches or freight cars, instead can be used as a shunter to drive around railyards, or as an single locomotive on its way to a new assignment.
