Ikarus 280/280T

This articulated bus was produced in Budapest from 1973 to 1989.
The self-supporting box construction had a steering rear axle,
a MAN diesel engine and a hydromechanical transmission with
5+1 or 6+1 gears.
It was used in urban and interurban traffic.
The bus had space for 143 passengers, of which 36 were allowed to sit.
