Chaos in the Old World (Scripted Setup)

This is a mod for the excellent area control game Chaos in the Old World by Eric M. Lang. This mod draws inspiration from several existing mods for CitOW (see below for a full list) and adds a couple new features to speed up setup and gameplay:

-Board setup is now scripted. Just pick your setup preferences and get to the ruination!

-Each region includes a Chaos symbol to the right of the region’s name. Drop your corruption tokens in there and it will automatically tally them and display the totals. Once a region reaches 12 corruption it will announce its ruination to all players and display “Ruined” in both card slots.

-Numpad 1-9 are now bound to spawn a token or battle die where the player’s mouse is pointing. Check the lower-right corner of your screen in-game for notes on each key binding.

-Added a button for each player to automatically clear their Battle Dice.

-Added a button to fetch all Event Tokens on the board and return them to their storage space.


This mod uses a different map than the one included in the original game. While the original map matches the overall aesthetic of the game better, I think this one is more clear and is easier to use on Tabletop Simulator.
