Today's pairing is the brutal survival game Don't Starve Together with a smooth Helles Lager from Lowercase Brewing! Support your local brewers, they need you more than ever right now!

Steam had a brief Spring Cleaning event where they use AI to select games from your backlog to play. Of the 3 it offered me, Don't Starve Together seemed to fit my video format style the best.

I've played a little bit of Don't Starve before they added a multi-player mode, but I never got very far. I decided to do a live stream of this, and didn't plan beers out ahead of time. I still think the events that happened made this a really unique experience, and I hope you find it entertaining!

Now onto the beer! I've been making it a point to support the breweries in my neighborhood, they're all struggling with the loss of taproom income. So, I swooped in and grabbed a crowler from a local brewery I've featured on the channel before - Lowercase Brewing. They focus on traditional lager and ale styles (no sours, no crazy pastry stouts, no milkshake IPAs, etc) and I'm quite fond of their lagers so I went with a simple and classic Helles Lager and it did not disappoint!

So grab yourself a cold one and Don't Starve, DRINK! Enjoy the chaos as I try not to starve.
