Project H2H

Descripción
Project H2H
This project aims to bring a wide set of hand to hand combat functionalities to Arma 3. The core focus of the mod is to bring functional bayonet attachments to the majority of vanilla weapons and some of the weapons from popular mods. Beyond that goal is additional melee combat functionalities, grappling combat functionalities, and various other hand to hand combat capabilities. Currently this more expansive feature set is still in the works.

Functional Bayonets
The bayonets added by this core mod are configured as attachments. The fictional US M12 bayonet for example can be mounted to the side picatinny rail of almost all the vanilla Arma weapons. This mod also supports cases in which bayonets are present on the weapon model itself. This is used for example with TIOW & Grimdark Armory weapons.

The default keybinding to use a bayonet is T. This key can be changed in control options > addon options > Project H2H > Bayonet Stab.

If you are running ACE the bayonet damage system will automatically switch to utilizing the ACE wounding system. It is possible to disable this in the addon options for the mod.

Natively Compatible Mods
The following mods are natively supported by Project H2H. Some of these mods have their own cosmetic bayonets which have been given functionality, while others offer weapons for which Project H2H has related bayonets. For these reasons they have been provided native support by Project H2H in place of waiting for their respective authors add optional support for Project H2H. If you know of any additional mods that fit within this category, please report them in the comment section or in the Discord and they will receive native support.

3rd Party Mods
These 3rd party mods offer bayonets that utilize Project H2H.

For Developers
Project H2H offers a simple API to bring functionality to your own bayonets and hand-wielded weapons. In order to ensure proper interaction between your addon and H2H's API add "H2H_Core" in the requiredAddons field of your mod's cfgPatches entry. Enabling functionality on bayonets and hand-wielded weapons will require the use of CBA's preInit event handler.

To add functionality to a bayonet or weapon with a built-on bayonet use the pushBack command to add the class of that object into the global array H2H_bayoArray. In the case that you have multiple entries to add, you can put them in an array and use the append command to add them all at once to H2H_bayoArray. It is also possible to have your entry include a custom animation. To do this simply make the entry and array with the first item in the array being the classname and the second being the animation's string name.

Would it be possible to add an addon option to disable the mod's attack (i.e when using it with webknights)?

Hi, just want to inform you that this mod(https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2956197523) is using files from this mod illegally and presenting them as it's own. It is actively being used on "creator's" server.

Something I noticed is that the barrel attachments for the 7.62mm AK-12/AK-15 get taken away except for a bayonet. The AKU-12/AKU-15 works fine, though.

I mean, two bayonets is nice, but I kinda like being able to sneak up on people and stabbing them and then shooting them from a little further away without being detected.

It's intended behavior for the built in Nassau version that you can't load or fire the musket with a plug bayonet in the end of the barrel
