For advanced gamers only. Your flashlight has broken. You'll need to listen well and move slowly in the dark. This mod removes your flashlight.


Meant to be used on dark campaigns like The Parish Beta , City 17 , Haunted Forest [www.l4dmaps.com]or No Mercy, and in combination with other mods that add difficulty or realistic limitations.

Get some jump scares gaming in realism mode or try out the various mutations or poltergeist mods available in the workshop.

And yes it's technically survival horror, the basis of the genre is limitation. There are lots of mods in the workshop that will add more limitations like realistic weapon damage / ammo / load times, etc.


Recommended Extras:

Dethly's Color Correction Makes lighting more realistic, quite a bit darker.

Realism HUD Removes the standard HUD info, ammo and character info.

you should add the dynamic lighting mod to that 'reccomennded extras' section. molotovs, pipe bombs and spitter goo, alongside anything on fire creates light- you can hold your molotov or pipe bomb for light, but you'll have to shoot blind in dark spaces.
