(1) Your starting class doesn't matter because at SL802 there's only one build: the SL802 build. The Deprived starting class might require more work than the other classes because you would be starting from SL1.

(2) In the guide on farming souls, I said that the farming route ignores the Sword Master due to 2 reasons. The first reason is that he doesn't respawn so you won't be able to farm him repeatedly. The farming route I mentioned only takes into account enemies that respawn, so you would be able to repeat what I did in the video linked there. In fact, all farming routes in that guide only consider enemies that respawn. It wouldn't make sense to farm bosses and mini-bosses because they don't respawn, except for Halflight who can be revived. The second reason is that the Sword Master can be difficult very early in the game. I don't expect anyone to take on the Sword Master very early in their DS3 playthrough.

I have 2 questions please, Mr. Quack:

1.) does it matter what starting class you are at all? Or doesn't matter because at SL802 they all become the same essentially? and,
2.) in the Farming Souls guide you said not to kill Sword Master, because he doesn't respawn. I'm sorry but I don't understand the significance of this?

I find that once you can have 99 in INT, FTH, DEX, and 66 STR, a chaos/dark harald curved sword with the fire/dark clutch ring is an excellent choice for this challenge. It has about 950 AR and can be upped to just over 1000 if you use sacred oath. Destroys some bosses even on NG+7

@mrcoolis Before NG+7, if I tried many times and can't defeat a boss, I would grind a few levels by killing the 3 Winged Kings. From NG+7 onwards, the number of souls given by enemies are fixed. From SL200 or so onwards, the best way to increase your SL is to level up 5 times with Yoel in each NG cycle and the amount of souls you get from defeating a boss.
