Hi romeomgolf, it is doable, but would require much more work than a road that uses one of the existing track configurations, which is probably why no one has made one so far.

Hi Delta - I've been looking for a 1-way road with a 2-lane Tram Track (ideally segregated/buffered) but can't find anything. Is this due to a game limitation, or just because no one else wants one yet?! Hi wilky, either would be possible, but one with tram tracks on the outside would require considerably more work.

Ok wow, that sounds like some next-level stuff going on lol. I'll have to ponder the implications of what you just said, as I keep playing around in the Asset Editor. Is it impossible, then, to create a six-lane tram track road? (Or maybe it's possible with the two tram tracks in the center?) Thanks again! You are the master!

Hi wilky, yes, it does matter and is not random at all :) It is used by the game to determine how to connect the tracks between two road segments on nodes.

There are only four track configurations that the game supports: (1) single track placed centrally, (2) one track off-centre by 1.5m, (3) two tracks side-by-side and (4) two tracks with a 3m gap in between.

Using SingleTrain/SingleMetro etc. on tram roads is a hack which allows a few more configurations to be defined. For example, my 3-lane 1-way road with tram uses a single track 4.5m off-centre for which I'm using one of the flags. The hack relies on the fact that the game does not allow tram roads to intersect railway, metro tracks etc., so these flags would never otherwise appear on tram road nodes.

Delta I have a question... I was looking at your tram roads in the Asset Editor, and under "Connection Group" they all seem to say random things. One says SingleMetro. One says SingleTrain. One says TrainStation. Another says SingleTram which I think is correct.

Or does this not matter? Have you noticed this?

Hi Delta! I like your work! Thank you very much! :-) Are you planning to create variations of the tram-roads with grass and trees?

A dedicated tram lane, i love that! Thank you!
