The weapon
The Kraber is the worst weapon in the game in a regular players hand. it is a bolt action sniper with bullet drop and fire projectiles, meaning you need to lead your shots, however it has one advantage that makes it incredibly dangerous. It oneshots pilots no matter what. hit craig in the foot? dead. sam in the hand? dead. dave in the head? mega dead. if you can hit your shots with this piece of trash, you become an unkillable god.
Learning the Kraber step 1: the basics
To learn how to win with this, boot up a private server in attrition and get shooting. for attachments start with zoom scope with extra ammo and gun-ready sights. I'd start with simple stationary shots from rooftops, from as long a distance as you can manage, and once you start hitting more than you miss it's time to practice with pilots.
Learning the Kraber step 2: basic sniping
Pilots are a lot harder to hit than grunts, first off, so say goodbye to your K/D, second off, begin to practice hitting shots on pilots, don't aim for the head, as it doesn't matter, and learn to lead your shots based on distance. Distance and being in weird places will be your best friend, as the longer the distance between you and them, the more time you have to run if you miss your first few shots, and don't forget to run btw, as the Kraber has a very clear tracer for each shot. go for long range shots, this will force you to lead your targets and account for bullet drop properly. once you feel good about your long ranged sniping power, it's time to fargo all of that in favor of a much more infuriating approach
Learning the Kraber step 3: quickscoping
So now you can snipe from a distance, but i'll let you in on a secret, the Kraber is the best shotgun in the game, so let's discuss how to use it. First unequip the zoom scope, it'll just be slightly confusing, and who needs zoom when your target's always 12 ft. or less from you. for the best quickscopes, equip the default one. not the threat scope, you want a clean sight picture, and the extra mod slot. everything else can stay though, especially gun ready sights. now head back to a private attrition match and get practicing. to quickscope get close, like really close, especially at first, allign the center of your screen where the enemy should be, then zoom and fire. i find the best luck with this while sliding. the farther away you can do this the better, although past mid range it isn't very reliable and you should't expect to land those without taking time to zoom, and line up your shots, remember with pilots you may still need to lead your shots, even at ridiculously close ranges. from here you can practice in real games if you feel like it.
Learning the Kraber step 4: practice, practice, practice!
The Kraber is hard to use and it's supposed to be that way. the only way to truly master it is with time, so practice, pilots, grunts, reapers, get those gens, and if you stick to it you will eventually be the leading cause of suicide for players on the enemy team.

step 5: die from smart pistol bc devs thinks it would be nice to add pistol with prety good damage what make most of your shots headshots... anyway good guide, but i don't think i would use it (epg going boom)

"the Kraber is the best shotgun in the game."
sounds legit

L-Star is great. You can really box people in because it's possible to dodge the projectiles so naturally people will dodge them. So you use that against them and make a pattern so you'll know where they're likely to dodge to. Plus that spread on hipfire is just MMMM.

You're right "anyways" is informal and "anyway" is the formal and correct option, it's a product of my local vernacular. I think we're actually relating here, once we got past the shit talk I think we're quite capable of being agreeable. You have some really interesting points and some pretty good advice. For transparency I use the kraber with gun ready, and quick reload. For my tactical I use mainly grapple or cloak, however I also like holo and stim. I usually only scope when someone is at long range since the kraber has ridiculous spread when you don't scope. at medium range it's a 50/50 depending on if they've seen me or not. At point blank it is always no scope. I also try and stay moving to keep people from sneaking up on me, basically a 15 minute game of "the floor is lava."

I used to main the 201 when I played on Xbox but went to the mastiff after a while. The L-Star is interesting and something I haven't really considered. I've tried the CAR but it didn't really feel rewarding enough but I understand it. When it comes to SMGs my favorite is still the R-97 because of the shear brrrrrt capabilities.

P.S EPG is also a lot of fun to use.

I'm sorry. That's a pet peeve of mine.

also, it's "anyway"

Secondly, thanks again for another fun question. See, now we're starting to relate a little even if it's disingenuously. I use Grapple. Anything else is subject to change. I think I do the best with L-star because you can kind of trap people with it by making patterns around them. But I also really like the EPG because then I have two weapons for fighting titans. Wingman is my favorite to use though because it's incredibly rewarding when you're on point with it. I almost never ADS. But every now and then, I will get a sniper out. DMR is my go-to sniper. But when all else fails, you can never go wrong with the 201 or CAR.

And honestly, I think the scope is holding you back. Kraber is not a good sniper. Think of it as a shotgun and use it mid-range. If you have time to ADS, the guy who's been chasing you for the last 30 seconds has time to execute.

Thank you for asking that. I know this is a confusing concept for a lot of people. "Why say anything at all if you don't care?" Well you see, it's not that I don't care at all about anything. It's that your opinion of me does not have any affect whatsoever on my life. Hence going to lengths I normally wouldn't and crossing lines I normally wouldn't when talking to people who matter to me even in the slightest. As for why I would bother saying anything in the first place, it's because it doesn't have anything to do with you people. I don't relate to you. I say things because I want to say them. I enjoy saying them. The things I say, I will read again after hitting "Post Comment" and I'll go "ha". So I wonder, will you follow your own advice and let me play as I will or will you criticize me further?

also what do you use? I don't think anyone's asked that.
