Pick a color and left click on a headlight or somethin.
Change the area slider to make your selection area bigger.

Some more settings may be added later.

will never have duplicator support

This tool changes the already spawned/existing sprites and lamp colors based on where you click. That means it would be incredibly hard to make it support any dupes.
If a player joins in late they will not see any preexisting or changed colors.

this addon is literally the worst idea to add to a server other than a small group of friends

yeah. Btw simfphys isn't simfphys anymore, it's LVS Cars [Fake Physics], but the tools still are under simfphys. I'm kind of hating the new update, but it added more features. Like actual skidmarks and better car-crash noises

From what I remember this tool cannot support it as the lights are created on spawn, and I am only changing the color of the light entities within a set distance around where you clicked with the tool. I would have to then associate those arbitrary positions&radius where you clicked around the vehicle with the vehicle itself and store that as data on the vehicle entity, which while jank would work for the normal dupe tool, but not the simfphys one.

The simphys tool from what I remember does not allow you to store any custom data with the dupe. It is lame.

for the guy under me, it literally says in the description that this mod will never have dupe support. Plus, NotAKid left gmod modding. He's on VRChat now.

is there a chance this will be made compatible with the simfphys vehicle duplicator tool? I love this tool I have to recolor the headlights manually every time i spawn in a duped car :(
