It's a shame that the file was lost, but it was and is still one of the best CAS missions out there.
Unfortunately the FOB defense mission is bugged and consistently fails about 30 seconds after getting the objective

Ambush mission seems bugged, no matter if I drop GPS bombs or go in with machine gun some of the soldiers never seem to die. Amazing scenario otherwise!

One question, what is the name of the song that plays when the mission starts, its in my head

I wanted to give one more big Thank You for creating this and sharing with the community. Probably the best Workshop mission out there for this game. I have played through it 4 times now and it doesn’t get old. Air to Ground and smart conservation and use of munitions is a ton of fun.

Any plans to make any more similar missions in the future?

1) Can't update it because the drive with the mission file crashed. This mission cannot be edited, updated, or changes. People need to stop asking.
2) I spent a lot of time trying to make the boats not to leave the path and drive through the walls of the canyon. Unfortunately, boat path-following is horrible and not precise enough to navigate rivers. Luckily, it only happens briefly.

Could you at least try to stop the boats from deciding that the ground is too weak for them and just going through it invincibly?
