I prefer to use the projector as the first piece so that I don't have to set up alignment and just place the projector where it will sit when completed (also makes pivot point easier to track than a landing gear).
I ended up working around it, removing some blocks before copy/pasting to fix the blueprint, and ended up learning how to change the focus point when pasting (that made the process easier). But thanks for the clarification. That one might actually help with changing the order of assemblers on the dropdown list, if it also pulls from that (but I'll check that later).
1. Find the block you want as the "center" or starting block of your creation, and delete it.
2. Place a single block so that it creates a new grid.
3. Merge the original grid onto this one such that the block you placed in step 2 falls into the spot you created in step 1.
In theory this new grid should have the blocks correctly offset.
I found an element on each block called <NumberInGrid> and tried changing that, but that didn't work (also deleted the .sbcB5 file in case it was backing up that info).
in the prefabs are 14 files defective
these files have <TypeId>PrefabDefinition</TypeId> most on line 6
but this is not the problem, in this is missing the <CubeGrids>...</CubeGrids> tag if you will load such a file, the game ist crasching.
