What Does This Do?
This VFX mod makes undead puppet Vampire Count units such as Zombies and Grave Guard have glowing red eyes rather than the default cyan colour and extends the radius from the unit the effect can still be seen.

✅This mod is purely cosmetic. It won't affect saves or gameplay. No databases edited.✅

How Do I Get It Working?
Just subscribe and activate it in the mod manager and the mod will work unless you have another mod which changes zombie eye glow VFX.

Is This The Same Mod You Had On Your Mod Page Before?
Yeah I used have have it as a download link on AtticNote Reskin: Vampire Counts. Having it uploaded like a regular mod makes things easier.

How Do You Upload VFX 'Movie' Mods To The TWW Steam Workshop?
The Total War mod manager does not recognise 'movie' type pack files. This prevented modders from uploading them to Steam Workshop as with other mods. However a method has now been discovered.

1. Make your mod a 'Mod' pack file as normal so the mod manager recognises it so you can upload it.
2. Once uploaded, change it back to a 'Movie' pack file (you're using RPFM right?) and save it.
3. Open the Total War mod manager and you will see it still displays it. You can now update it as a movie type pack file and it'll work like any other mod.

Anyone know how to change the other visual effects to match the eyes? I have horses running around leaving blue flames and glowing red eyes. It's just a little weird imo.

Ah just as simple as that, thought since it was a glow effect there might be some more work that was required. I already mod so know RPFM to a certain degree :D

Cheers dude!

@Neferata13 google "rusted packfile manager" and use it to open pack files such as this mod in the tww2 mod folder. Make a copy of this mod to your tww2 data folder and rename it to something. open the file with RPFM and change the rgb numbers related to the eye colour. save. file will not show in your mod manager but will work in game.

@Noah in da House Yeah I've made a version with smaller "eyes" but haven't uploaded it yet.

Hey dude I'm just wondering how I would go about changing the colour of the eyes glowing in this mod
Noah in da House 12/nov./2020 às 10:34
I feel like the glow is a bit too intense, it really drowns out the other visuals. Would love to use this though
