Rumor around the darker reaches of space has it that there have been recent sightings of a strange metallic beast lurking beyond asteroid fields to prey on unsuspecting miners and straggling pirates. The rare survivors tell stories of a frigate-sized ship that resembles depth-dwelling apex predators once dominate ancient Terra’s ocean, its top fin slicing through asteroid rocks like a sword, its salvaging turrets devouring smaller vessels.
