Description
Important Announcement!

I have abandoned this project and any code that it contains is fair game to anyone who wants to use it.

Requires Harmony


Update Info:
Added multi-level combat system. Pawns will auto attack the pawns, working on a way to designate attacks.
Updated how terrain is viewed and now the top levels look much better.
Fixed various bugs. Still working on overhauling pathfinding.


Add the ability to dig underground or build upwards!
It might actually work with old saves I have not done extensive testing. I would recommend a new save just in case.

Key Features
-Adds the ability to move underground or above ground.
-Bills through layers work
-Hauling works
-Abandoning a layer with the ability to return to it later (saves performance if you have too many. Right Click to delete rather than abandon)
-Synchronizes rooves (roofs?) to floors
-Capture and Rescue works beyond floors.
-Saves Draft states when they enter a new layer
-Saves Zones from previous layers
-Skyfallers working on upper levels (drop pod raids)
-Key Functionality to swap layers
-Capability to reload "Abandoned" layer
-Underground infestations
-Underground caves with insects
-Incident which adds new tunnel with insects inside.
-Synced weathers for upper floors
-Raiders use stairs
-Simple jobs such as mining
-Pets follow their owners
-Searches for food/rest/joy beyond layers
-Combat between levels

Planned Features:
-Storage Elevators
-Pit fall traps.
-Adjust damage when a pawn falls through a layer


When building upwards you have to watch out for the floor collapsing similar to normal roof collapses. Upper floors need supports. When building lower watch out for dropping the mountain roof on yourself. The stairs are in the structure tab.

Known Bugs:Natural hole, this is found in the structures tab and it should be avoided, it is only used for infestations underground. Avoid it.

This is a BETA so it might have issues. Please let us know of any issues.

If you wish to remove this mod, abandon all additional levels from a game, save it, and it should work.

i agree it would be awesome to have this mod back bit it is incredibly hard to just add floors to the game without altering base code just like riwmorld empires, rimwar, combat extended, rimworld multiplayer and so-forth

It's really not the same, but...
The only mod I'm aware of which is remotely similar is DeepRim (Continued) . But, last I checked, that one is missing a lot of the functionality and features of this one.

Even if its abandoned, the new anomaly dlc's use of pocket maps could be implemented with this if anyone chose to update it.
