A guide on how to install BMCE

Seeing as so many people are having trouble downloading the modification. I thought i might as well make a guide for it.

Step 1:

So, you downloaded BMCE huh? Great mod. But lets get started on the download. First of all, you want to click on "google drive download". Dont touch the others yet.

Right now, im assuming you have a custom folder. However, remember to make sure that your gameinfo.txt is up-to-date. Go here to make sure: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=502670746

Step 2:

Alright, so now you have the winRAR folder. Navigate to your custom folder (Should be x/steam/steamapps/common/blackmesa/bms/custom) and choose the files from the winRAR. Read the readme for a better explenation.

Step 3. (optional) (Unfinished)

Great, now you have the chosen files and put them inside the custom folder. Now comes the optional downloads (Sector revamps and whatnot). You could just install them via steam however, just to make sure i like to put them in the custom folder aswell.

It seems to be less a problem with the character expansion itself and more of a problem with the mods that are supposed to work with it such as “Inbound revamped” the second I subscribed to those revamped mods I started getting the error.

No, was mostly in Unforeseen Consequences. Saw another post that suggested it was those models were supposed to be replaced with the variants of zombies BMCE adds, so I used GFCscape to nab the loose files of the zombie models and put them in a sub-folder of the 'mods' folder I made within custom. Will report back with results.

@Cpt. Schmitt I had that same issue, i assume in surface tension? All i can say is dont use any explosives.

Lots of zombies don't have headcrabs, especially ones involved in scripted/semi-scripted sequences. I've done the optional downloads, and things are working fine otherwise so far, but this is definitely distracting. Any idea what I should do?
