Side bar: Jacobella is pulling information from the sky, there's no way to triple element a weapon, the closest possible triples would be dual wielding a dual fang and shock based weapon, or using the crown princes grenades with shock/flame combo. But that only gives you alternating elements in one case, and one of them isn't a weapon in the other.
Finally: @Zgar Explosion element, and explosion non-element are two different procs, Aoi Bai's explosive tree doesn't do anything with it.
Now back ontopic. I completely disagree to your 2 statements about how Explosion damage deals "massive" damage in an AoE, and how Miasma shreds normal health but does little to shields/armor. Having played the game for a good 20+ hours total ( level 74 right now ) and having beaten both normal and elite modes multiple times I feel I've got a good handle on the current game mechanics.
Miasma, as of right now, is THE single strongest mechanic in the game to killing things UNTIL rng kicks in and you get a good specific build going, and even then you need some really insane luck to top the damage that Miasma can do.
The number at the symbols' bottom right corner indicates the number of stacks.
As for Explosion, the enemies hit from it do also flinch back sometimes, essentially stunning them for a second or two.
Additional info: the enemy needs both effects triggered on them. Damaging a decaying enemy with fire will not detonate them right away, only if both effects come together.
If two effects get combined, their original parts get removed, so don't expect enemies to be both decaying and burning, as it only causes an explosion.
Thanks for noting the effects in a guide. Would love to see it expand. : )
