British Rail Class 40

The British Rail Class 40 is a type of British railway diesel electric locomotive. A total of 200 were built by English Electric between 1958 and 1962.
They were numbered D200-D399.[1] They were for a time the pride of the British Rail early diesel fleet. Despite their initial success, by the time the last examples were entering service they were
already being replaced on some top-link duties by more powerful locomotives. As they were slowly relegated from express passenger uses, the type found work on secondary passenger and freight services
where they worked for many years. The final locomotives ended regular service in 1985.

Specifically built for MrNJersey's freight train build challenge, this train is suitable for it, having only bodies(+10 small bodies with buffers and connectors).
This locomotive is a diesel electric, with a DC generator powering the 6 motors.
I have built this train with the 'age' factor in mind, so this train will take some time to throttle up and give pressure to the brakes. Keep this in mind when driving it.
Please note that it is 90% complete, with serveral bugs and there.

Startup procedure
Step 1: Get into cab no.1.(or cab no.2 depending on your direction of travel)
Step 2: Turn on the Master isolation switch.
Step 3: Turn on the AWS switch.

Engine start.

Comodo, spycakes terminal startup.

Step 1: Go into the engine room(only accessible by cab no.1), there should be a button to open them. Open them.
Step 2: Go back into the respective cab you were in before.
Step 3: Move the reverser into 3.
Step 4: Prime the engine, hold the prime engine button for 30 seconds.
Step 5: Hold the engine start button for 2 seconds.
Step 7: Release the handbrake (right side of the cab).
Step 8: Enough air should have built up in the air reservoir by now.
Step 9: Release the train brakes.

Arctic start up.

Step 1: Move the reverser into 3.
Step 2: Prime the engine, hold the prime engine button for 30 seconds.
Step 3: Hold the engine start button for 10 seconds.
Step 4: Release the handbrake (right side of the cab).
Step 5: Enough air should have built up in the air reservoir by now.
Step 6: Go into the engine room(only accessible by cab no.1), there should be a button to open them. Open them.
Step 7: Go back into the respective cab you were in before.
Step 8: Release the train brakes.

Coupling multiple locomotives.

I advise you to use a shunter to couple the carriages together. The locomotives should be in their default control states, or you may have unnecessary problems.

To uncouple.

Press the button on the back of the train-on the side that the coupler is located.

How to use the other cab?

Step 1: Turn off the AWS switch in the cab that is not being utilized. Make sure the battery isolation switch is still on.
Step 2: Head into the other cab and turn on the AWS switch.

Caution
If the battery level drop below 50%, you have overworked the motors. In order to stop this, reduce throttle until the battery is back to a more suitable charge.

Creator notes
Communications radio is only available in cab no.1.
