Introduction
Jolly Rover is a point and click adventure game. If you don't know what a point and click game is well.... you point at objects and click on them. I'm not going to walk you through starting up the game because if you can't figure that out then you probably can't read this guide.
Crackers, Coins, and Flags
There are three different types of collectible items in the game:

Crackers can be fed to the parrot Juan for hints, but since this is a 100% walkthrough we won't be feeding that dumb parrot anything. Crackers unlock concept art for the game.

Coins (or Pieces of Eight) are items that you collect to unlock the different sound tracks.

Flag pieces unlock the biographies of the three different captains.

You can access your unlocked content in the Log tab on the main menu or on the drop-down menu in-game.
Voodoo
You will come across a Voodoo cheat sheet that you will need to use to progress through the game.

When you need to use a new spell, I will type out the spell components according to this system:
Q W E R T A S D F G Z X C V B
For example, the code QZVD means click the top row first column, click bottom row first column, click bottom row fourth column, and then click middle row third column. If you entered the spell correctly, you will see colored particles begin to float around your character.
Walkthrough: Howell's Ship / Groggy Island
Tell Captain Howell that you'll never join his crew.
Click on the Treasure Chest to find a PIECE OF EIGHT.
Click on the Heavy Cannon to find a FLAG PIECE.
Search everything in the room so that all the blue text has turned white, this will trigger a scene where you will escape the Brig.

Once you fall through the wall, Melvin will appear to check on you. Choose any response for the first two selections, but then say you have no idea when he asks you about the rum story. The parrot will the call you over and ask you to free him.
Grab the KEYS from the wall by Melvin.
Take the CRACKERS from the Cracker Barrel on the right.
Grab the red SCARF from the floor by the Comatose Pirate.
Use the KEYS you grabbed to open the Brig Door and enter the Brig.

Grab the LAMP from on top of the Barrel.
Use the red SCARF with the LAMP you just picked up to make an OILY SCARF.
Head back to the Hold.

Use the OILY SCARF with the Rusty Lock on the parrot cage then use the KEYS on the Oiled Lock.
Use the PARROT on Rover and a dialogue will come up where Juan tells you the Rum Story.
Say Goodbye to Juan and never use him again! All the crackers belong to us!
Talk to Melvin and tell him what the parrot told you: Port Sickle, 10 Days, and Swabbin' the Decks in Silk Dresses.
Follow Melvin up the stairs to the Lower Deck.

Talk to Melvin again and ask him to Open the Hatch. Give him any excuse you wish.
Remember the knock pattern Melvin uses.
Go to the hatch and try to open it yourself. Ask to stretch your legs, then ask to switch places.
Bobby will refuse, so head back to the Lower Deck.

Head Left to the Galley.

Check the left Cupboard and find CRACKERS.
Check the bag by the sink to get some PEPPERCORNS.
Grab the DRIED FISH from the hook to the right of the Sink.
Go over to the bottom Window on the left side and use the OILY SCARF on it then open the window.
Place the DRIED FISH on the Hook in front of the window you just opened.
The pirate will wake and spill his rum on the floor when closing the window.
Use your PEPPERCORNS with the Spilled Rum and then open the Window again.
Pick up the RUM on the floor that the pirate dropped.
Head back to the Lower Deck.

Head Right to the Sleeping Quarters.

Check the Pirate Boots on the floor for a PIECE OF EIGHT.
Wake Pete, who wants Rum.
Give the RUM to Pete.

Head back up to the Hatch.
Do the secret knock, and tell Bobby that Pete is Drunk.

When you exit the Fort, head Left to Town Street.
Head Left until you see the Stumble Inn.
Inspect both Barrels on either side of the Inn to find a PIECE OF EIGHT and some CRAKCERS.
Enter the Inn and tell Captain Howell that you Will Join his Crew and give him any reason why you should be the cook. Ask Howell how to make Salamagundi and he will tell you to ask the cook in the back.
Go talk to the Insane Pirate and accept his CRACKERS, then talk to Pug Pirate and ask about something to eat for some more CRACKERS, then hit up the Cracker Bucket for even more CRACKERS!
Talk to Davey and tell him your hat is a Family Heirloom, then offer to Buy Him a New One and he will give you a PIECE OF EIGHT.
Head Back to the Kitchen.

Use the PEPPERCORNS with the Mortar and Pestle to make PEPPER.
Use the PEPPER on the Chef who will sneeze and drop the HAM. Pick up the HAM.
Inspect the mop and bucket on the Right to find a PIECE OF EIGHT.
Open the Stove to find some CRACKERS.
Open the Cupboard behind the Chef's blubber to find some CRACKERS.
Inspect the Bookshelf behind the Chef until you find out about the missing recipe page.

Leave Stumble Inn.

Head Left to Turtle Beach behind the fish shack.

Go over to the Sand Mound and uncover some TURTLE EGGS. Check the mound again for a FLAG PIECE.
Head up the pathway to the Cliff Shack.

Walk Left and ask Ron about Salamagundi. He's not cooperative, so head back to Turtle Beach.

Pick up the FISHING NET on the Beach and use it on the Palm Trees. Jump on the Hammock to land near Ron.

Say Hello to Ron and agree to Help him out and Try out his Book.
Use the VOODOO BOOK on Rover and look over the Scare Beasts spell.
Ask Ron what the birds eat for food.
Go over and inspect the Cannons to find a FLAG PIECE.

Go back to Turtle Beach and remove your Hammock to retrieve the FISHING NET.
Inspect the Palm Trees to find a PIECE OF EIGHT.
Head back to Town.

Talk to Scruffy at the fish shack and ask him about what he is selling then ask to trade the Fishing Net for a Fish. Scruffy will give you a PICKLED HERRING.
Head back to Ron's Cliff Shack.

Stand next to Ron and use the VOODOO CHEAT SHEET on Rover.
Click in the code: QZVD
Rover should have red particles circling around him.
Quickly use the PICKLED HERRING with the Birds on Ron's Roof.
Talk to Ron and tell him the Spell Worked. Ron will give you the RECIPE.
Use the RECIPE on Rover.
Ask Ron about the Spices and he will give you the SPICES.
Head Right past the Cannons and watch the monkey do his dance.
Click on the Mango Tree to knock on it and then use your VOODOO CHEAT SHEET on Rover.
Click in the code: GEFB
Rover will have yellow particles circling around him and a Mango will fall from the tree.
Go over and grab the MANGO.
Head back to Town.

Head all the way Right and go up to the Fort.

Walk over to the Palm Tree next to the guard and Knock on it, then pull out your VOODOO CHEAT SHEET.
TIP: ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF YOUR CHEAT SHEET ARE ICONS OF YOUR KNOWN SPELLS CLICK ON THESE TO USE THOSE SPELLS.
Use the Drop Fruit spell and knock out the guard.
Enter the Fort.

Click on the Candle Holder to open the Cabinet. Head over to the Cabinet to find a FLAG PIECE and a PIECE OF EIGHT.
Inspect the Wine Rack to grab some WINE.
Click on the Cupboard to hide in it.
After the scene, inspect the Cupboard to find a PIECE OF EIGHT.
Head all the way over to Ron's Shack.

Use the WINE on the Skull on the fence to get UNCORKED WINE.
Head back to Town.

Go in the Stumble Inn and Head back to the Kitchen.

Put the HAM, PICKLED HERRING, SPICES, MANGO, and WINE into the Mixing Bowl.
Take the TURTLE EGGS and use them in the Cauldron and get BOILED EGGS.
Place the BOILED EGGS in the mixing bowl to complete the Salamagundi.

Walkthrough: Cannibal Island
After waking up from the creepy clown dream, you awake on Cannibal Island.
Pick up the Note you were lying on and retrieve some CRACKERS.
Walk over and inspect the Mound where you will find a PIECE OF EIGHT.
Try to pick up the Conch.
Inspect the Skeleton with the Blue hat and find a PIECE OF EIGHT.
Walk over to the Skeleton lying in the sand with the Black hat and take the SKULL.
Use the SKULL on the Conch so the Crab will switch shells then pick up the CONCH.
Head on into the Jungle.

After the pig-a-pult fires the poor piggy, grab the CRACKERS and MANGO from on top of the Barrel. Then take the BARREL as well.
Head further into the Jungle.

Pull out your trusty VOODOO CHEAT SHEET, it's time for a new spell.
Click in the code: DVZQ
This is the Lure Beasts spell (AKA the reverse of the Scare Beasts spell).
Send the pig crashing into the dark abyss below by casting the spell then using the MANGO on the pig.
Return back to the Beach.

Grab the CANNIBAL SIGN from the post.
Return back to the hole in the Jungle.

Use the CANNIBAL SIGN on the Hole.
Cross the plank and take the RUM and CRACKERS near the tree.
Move on into the Jungle.

Use your VOODOO CHEAT SHEET and cast the Scare Beasts spell and use the MANGO on the Pig again.
Walk past the trap to trigger a scene.
Once the pirates walk off, inspect the Murderous Trap to find a FLAG PIECE.
Grab the CRACKERS from the Tree and continue onwards.

Grab some CHARCOAL from under the Cauldron.
Head all the way back to the Beach to grab some CRACKERS from the Jug that has appeared.
Head back to the Stockade.

Head over to the Net in the Palm trees and inspect it twice to find a PIECE OF EIGHT.
Inspect the Cauldron for some CRACKERS then head over to the Bars on the side of the fort for some more CRACKERS.
Head Left to the Waterfall.

Take some DRIED CORN from the Bird Feeder in the center.
Inspect the Plant on the Left to grab a PIECE OF EIGHT.
Inspect the Plant closer to the Waterfall to uncover a Cauldron.
Examine the Cauldron and observe the figurines carved into it.
Use the MANGO and RUM with the Cauldron.
Take out your trusty VOODOO CHEAT SHEET.
Click in the code: SCRZ
Check the Cauldron again to get some MANGO JAM.
Use the MANGO JAM on the Bird Feeder. then leave the area and return.
There should be some nice pretty feathers stuck on the Bird Feeder.
Take the STICKY FEATHERS then use them with the SMALL BARREL to make a BARREL WITH FEATHERS. Next, use the CHARCOAL and the BARREL to make a TRIBAL MASK.
Return to the Stockade area.

Observe the secret Knock, then use the TRIBAL MASK on Rover.
Walk over and Knock on the Door.
Tell the Guard your name is Julie Rover and that you were Sent Out to Make a Mask.

Once all the scenes end, chose any Path in the Caves until you end up back outside.
Examine the Sign twice and find a PIECE OF EIGHT.
Return back to the Stockade.

Click on the Bars and Agree to Help Captain Howell.
Use the DRIED CORN on the Cauldron.
Then take out your VOODOO CHEAT SHEET and cast the Heat Iron spell.
When Rufus comes out, walk over to the Palm Tree by the Cauldron and Knock on it.
Take out your VOODOO CHEAT SHEET and cast the Drop Fruit spell and knock that sorry sucker out again.
Get the GUN POWDER from Captain Howell and inspect the Bars again to find a FLAG PIECE.
Head to the Waterfall.

Grab some more DRIED CORN off the Bird Feeder and find some CRACKERS there as well.
Head to the Beach.

Inspect the Horizon to find a FLAG PIECE.
Return up to the Caverns.

Use your RUM on the CONCH.
Use the GUN POWDER on the Stump then place your CONCH on the Stump.
Take out your trusty VOODOO CHEAT SHEET.
Click in the code: BSRX
Obtain the MAGIC CONCH, then head into the Caverns.

To navigate the Caverns use the MAGIC CONCH on each of the paths in the caves and listen for the Pirate Ghost's Song. You will know which way is right when the song keeps getting more complete.
Arrive at the Red Herring.

Enter the Cabin to the Left.
Examine the Jar on the desk twice to obtain a PIECE OF EIGHT and an EMPTY JAR.
Open the Wardrobe on the Right to get some CRACKERS.
Look under the Pillow to get the SMALL KEY.
Use the SMALL KEY on the Cupboard to find a PIECE OF EIGHT and a LARGE KEY.
Use the LARGE KEY with the Chest on the Left to find a PIECE OF EIGHT and a CUTLASS.
Combine the LARGE KEY and the SMALL KEY in your inventory to make a SUPER KEY.
Use the SUPER KEY with the Chest at the Back of the room to get COMPASS 1 and SILVEREYE'S JOURNAL.
Head back to the Waterfall.

Use the EMPTY JAR with the Cauldron to find a FLAG PIECE. Then use the EMPTY JAR on the Waterfall to get JAR WITH INGREDIENTS.
Head back to the Red Herring.

Combine the RUM with the JAR and then the GUN POWDER with the JAR then use the JAR on Clara.
Use the JAR with the Hatch.
Take out the VOODOO CHEAT SHEET.
Click in the code: ATWC
Raise the Dead!
Walkthrough: Shipwreck Island
After the scenes have ended, check the Barrels on the beach for some CRACKERS.
Then grab the BLOCK from the crane, the ROPE on the ground, and the CRANK from the crane.
Head Left to the Cove.

Continue on to Lookout Point.

Grab the CRACKERS from the Left Crate.
Find the PIECE OF EIGHT from the Cannonballs directly next to the crate.
Check the Barrel o' Gunpowder to remember that it is there.
Continue on to the Forest.

Use the CUTLASS on the Vine to obtain a VINE.
Inspect the Large Face at the top of the Tree to find some CRACKERS.
Inspect the smaller left Face at the bottom of the Tree to find some more CRACKERS.
Grab the BLOCK on the ground to the Right.
Combine a BLOCK with the ROPE to make a BLOCK AND ROPE then add the other BLOCK to make a BLOCK AND TACKLE.
Use the BLOCK AND TACKLE on the Vines on the Right side of the Tree.
Use the BARREL O' GUNPOWDER on the BLOCK AND TACKLE to go fetch it from the Tree.
Use the VINE on the BARREL.
Return to the Lookout.

Inspect the Tree and grab the FLAG PIECE we uncovered.
Go back to the Forest.

Click on the hanging BLOCK AND TACKLE to raise the BARREL up the cliff.
Move on to the Forest.

Examine the Blockage then use the BARREL O' GUNPOWDER on it to go grab the barrel.
Use the CUTLASS on the BARREL.
Take out your VOODOO CHEAT SHEET and cast the Heat Iron spell.
Continue on to the next area.

Take the LARGE JUG by the Well, then use the CRANK on the Well.
Inspect the Well the obtain COMPASS 2. Click on the Well again to find a PIECE OF EIGHT.
Go up to the Grave.

Click on the Gravestone, then return to Below Treehouse.

Ask Clara about her Birthday then use the JOURNAL on Rover.
Flip to the back pages.
Click on the Wheel.
Rotate 5 clicks clockwise, 8 clicks anticlockwise, 6 clicks clockwise, and then 3 clicks anticlockwise.

Examine the Rug to find a FLAG PIECE.
Grab a PIECE OF EIGHT from the Wardrobe.
Use the SUPER KEY on the Chest at the foot of the Bed to find a PIECE OF EIGHT and a WOODEN BANANA.
Take the SMALL JUG off the cabinet shelf and then check the Top Drawers for a PIECE OF EIGHT.
Check the Bottom Drawers twice for some CRACKERS (2x).
Use the WOODEN BANANA on the Fruit Bowl to expose COMPASS 3.
Leave the Treehouse.

Check the Tree with the Face behind the boat to find some CRACKERS.
Head Left to the Grave.

Click on Silvereye, then take out your VOODOO CHEAT SHEET.
Click in the code: CWTA
Lay Silvereye to rest and obtain a FLAG PIECE.
Return to Below Treehouse.

Head Right into the Forest.

Click on the Top Stump.
Place the a COMPASS (or combination of the COMPASSES) so that the holes match up and point in the direction to head in. Generally you need 2 COMPASS pieces to complete each stump. This part is random, so follow the arrows until you reach the Totem with the Ugly Mug on top.

Place each COMPASS in their respective slots on the Totem to unlock the Ugly Mug.
Grab the UGLY MUG and remove all the COMPASS pieces.
Examine the Slots on the Totem to find a PIECE OF EIGHT.
Go to the Arm on the Left tree and click it, a mouth will open on the Tree. Inspect it to find some CRACKERS.
Examine the Bag nailed to the top of the Right most Tree.
Pull out your VOODOO CHEAT SHEET and case the Heat Iron spell.
Pick up the Bag to find the Final FLAG PIECE.
Leave the area to the Left.

You should be back in the area with the two Stumps.
Examine the bottom Stump and repeat the maze this time with 4 COMPASS pieces at your disposal. Generally you need 3 COMPASS pieces to complete each stump.
This part is random, so follow the arrows until you reach the Waterfall.

Reach in the Hole on the Tree to find some Crackers.
Use the UGLY MUG with the Capstan.
Examine the Mug and note the Single Drop of Water.
Fill the SMALL JUG in the Waterfall.
Use the SMALL JUG on the LARGE JUG to transfer the water then fill up the SMALL JUG again.
Use the SMALL JUG on the LARGE JUG again to transfer some water. You should be Left with 1 unit of water in the SMALL JUG.
Use the SMALL JUG on the Mug.
Turn the Capstan.
A Cave will appear but before you leave check the Capstan for a PIECE OF EIGHT.
Head into the Cave.

Say You Won't Let DeSilver Take Clara, then say whatever you want to DeSilver until he knocks you out and you are back with the creepy clown.

Wake up on an island.
Pick up the BOOT on the Left and use it twice on Rover to find a PIECE OF EIGHT.
Pick up the NOOSE by the Tree and then check the Barrel to find some CRACKERS.
Take out your VOODOO CHEAT SHEET and cast the Lure Beasts spell then use the BOOT on the Sea.
Use the NOOSE on the Turtle.
Take out your VOODOO CHEAT SHEET and cast the Scare Beasts spell then use the BOOT on the Turtle.
Off you go!
Walkthrough: Groggy Island (again)
Head to Town and go in the Stumble Inn.
Grab some CRACKERS from the Cracker Bucket again.
Leave the Inn and head over to the Fort.

Take our your VOODOO CHEAT SHEET and cast the Heat Iron spell so Rufus takes off his helmet.
Then knock the Palm tree and cast the Drop Fruit spell on the poor bastard yet again.
Enter the Fort.

Examine the Wooden Fruit to take WOODEN FRUIT.
Pull the Secret Lever to open the Secret Passage.
Enter the Secret Passage.

Use the WOODEN FRUIT on DeSilver then choose the Think Fast! option.
Use the Crane to save Clara.
Pick up the CUTLASS by the edge of the cliff.
Click on the Rocks in the Top Left to go and grab a ROCK.
Check the Bookshelf for some CRACKERS, then search the Cauldron for the last of the CRACKERS.
Pick up the SAIL CANVAS and then pick up a CANVAS BAG.
Use the CANVAS BAG on the Vent.
Use the SAIL CANVAS on the Basket, then use the ROCK on the Vent to inflate the balloon.
Take the ROCK off the Vent then hop in the Basket.
Use the CUTLASS to cut loose the sand bags on the Basket and rise off into the sunset.
Conclusion
Well that's it, you should have ended the game with:
90 Crackers
24 Pieces of Eight
12 Flag Pieces (3 Flags)
1439 Points

and have unlocked all of the achievements.

If you are missing something, guess what? It's time to start over and use this guide all over again!

Oops back again I never 100% the game, but the jug with crachers appears right after you take the sign, and you can take the crackers then so you dont have to go all the way back. Either that or after you put the sign down over the hole

Thanks for this. I completed this game years ago, in terms of storyline, but was still missing a few achievements and doubt I'd have been able to get them all on my own. This really helped! :happymeat:

It's good and all but neither guide I found doesn't tell you what to do if you do something wrong. For example I put 2 compass peices into the totem, now i found out I need them for a stump, and I can't take them out of the Totem. What the hell am I suppose to do now?!

This was very useful.

If anyone wants to make sure they're getting everything:
At the start of the Cannibal Island section your score should be 453.
At the start of the Shipwreck Island section your score should be 926
At the start of the Groggy Island (again) section your score should be 1296.
