Minimalistic Modern House-C-L4 by Pixel_monster

After a young family of cims was taken by the idea of a single-family house in the countryside, they found an 80-year-old house with a large garden, in need of rehabilitation. They commissioned an architect and he designed an extension to the house and covered it with grey larch boards, contrasting with the white rendered facade of the existing house. Connected to the main building via a glazed corridor, the boxy single story extension provides more space to accommodate the children and currently acts as a playroom, with an option to convert it into rooms in the future.

Inspired by, but slightly different from, House Eichgraben, by Franz Architekten in Wels, Austria.
