The BV 238 is a Premium plane inside of the game, which means it costs Golden Eagles to purchase. Compared to Silver Lions, their acquisition is much more difficult, so receiving this plane might prove rather difficult when done without the use of real money. However, this plane is fantastic. In my experience, at least, this plane has been useful in BR 3.7 to 9.3. This sounds crazy, seeing as it is a Rank II bomber. However, it can be used as an Anti Aircraft gun station when landed on water, and can be maneuvered to gunship low to the ground.

The BV holds a total bomb load of 20 250KG bombs, or around 5000KG payload. This is devastating to enemy bases.

The BV, in my opinion is most useful in realistic, but can have arcade usage.
In Realistic Mode, the BV 238 has enough bombs to wipe out all the enemy bases and make a dent in the airfield. Of course, there will most likely be other bombers on your team, but most don't have this big of a payload. While the He 111s and others return to base, you can bomb the crap out of the airfield.
Arcade is a similar story, except Gunshipping is much more practical. This is a made up term I have for flying a bomber very close to the ground and attacking fighters and dive bombers, and to my surprise it is very useful. Also can be used to additionally attack ground targets and even bases. Also, for bomb load the BV still packs a punch.

If you're looking to have some fun and do some very low level trolling that can actually do good for you, then the thing to do with it is land in the water and shoot jets. Now, yes this sounds like a very silly idea. But consider this- They have to be on your level or looking down to hit you. So they can crash in the water or get destroyed by your turrets. Also, if playing with a friend, one can use the BV as bait while the other is in a jet ready to get kills.
