This Mod adds a Refinery Bay System that containing a variety of stats to include Specializations stats. It functions by removing scrap and ore from the equipped ship and processes it. The capacity of each resource bay will increase with each rarity. When permanently installed it will provide a small ability to process the next resource tier.

Overview:
  • Refinery Processing Time: 30 seconds
  • Will process Scrap Metal first then Raw Ores to free up Cargo Space Faster
  • Will process Stolen Scrap and Stolen Raw Ore from your Cargo.

  • Engineer Productivity
  • Mechanic Productivity
  • Miner Productivity
  • Unarmed Turret Slots
  • Cargo Hold Increase
  • Loot Collection Range Increase
  • Deep Scan Radar Range Increase

Compatible Mods:
This is a list of mods I intend to keep my mods compatible with. It does not mean they will not work with other mods, just that I've made extra effort to make mine work with theirs.

I'll take a look at it. Currently away for work. As soon as I get back to the states I'll update it or I'll see if I sneak in a quick update if I can find good internet near by

have it running on 2.4.2 and ''energy consumption'' doesnt drain energy at all, yet the resources get refined.

Has there been any update on the functionality of this mod? Recent comments lead me to believe that there are ID mismatches with 2.4.2 which render several of the subsystems inert/dummy.

Legendary refinery versions no longer appear. If cheated in, they are not refinery systems and instead have no name.

I have an issue with the Refinery Subsystems. They are not showing up in any Equipment Dock. Is there a fix?

Hey Zergor, you wouldn't happen to know why some of the subsystems that were created after the fix you suggested work and some don't?

I have created a few refineries that all add 50+50% cargo space on paper.
Some of them don't do anything, some only apply 50% when permanently installed, some give 100% when installed and some even reduce cargo space bonus added by other installed refineries when permanently installed.
I have no real way of debugging this. Could you help me with that?

FYI the fix is on line 474 of the SDKrefinerybay.lay
_CargoHold = Perk.GetCargoBonus(_Method, _Rarity.value) * 2
The old line was
_CargoHold = Perk.GetCargoPerk(_Method, _Rarity.value) * 2

You will have to find new drops, this did not retro fix any cargo hold issues.

I have had a hard time testing tractor beam, they seem to work, but not sure how to easily test which range stacks etc...

I had several "+100%" tractor beam increases, I'm quite sure they don't work.
