How did such an expensive sticker appear in the game and what to combine it with?
Hello everyone! At the beginning of 2015, a match-fixing scandal thundered, in the center of which were the iBUYPOWER players. Back in August 2014, they decided to put skins against themselves on one popular resource at that time and merge the game against NetCodeGuides at the CEVO Professional Season 5 tournament.

Few people know, but like most of the tournament capsule stickers with stickers, iBUYPOWER (Holo) | Katowice 2014 is a team logo sticker.

The team with the strange name iBUYPOWER, taken in honor of the title sponsor that builds and sells gaming PCs, was at the very beginning of esports CS: GO. The North American collective was founded on October 25, 2013 and almost immediately occupied the Olympus of the North American stage.

From 2013 to 2015, the team dominated their continent and fought the best teams in the world at major tournaments, including ESL Major Series One Katowice 2014, ESL One: Cologne 2014 and DreamHack Winter 2014.

By cutting the highlights of this game, you can see how obvious and clumsy the iBP players are merging the game:

After the litigation, Valve declared that such behavior was not in their game, and they banned players, iBUYPOWER management and NetCodeGuides executives from their tournaments for life.

Following Valve's example, all the major tournament operators of the time also blocked the team, and the iBUYPOWER organization broke the contract with the players, and since then has never sponsored an esports team again.

IBUYPOWER Sticker (Holo) | Katowice 2014 looks like a bright red profile of an angry wild animal, presumably a cougar. The name of the team and the name of the tournament flaunts under it.

This sticker, like its holo version, looks best on red skins, for example:
Glock-18 Candy Apple

M4A1-S Hot Rod and AK-47 Redline

M4A4 Howl

Desert Eagle Sunset Storm

iBUYPOWER (Holo) | Katowice 2014 is not much different from the regular version. The red puma glitters and shimmers in the light like a laminated collectible card.

Also, the iBUYPOWER Katowice 2014 sticker plays cool in contrast with a bright blue color:
Like the M4A4 Bullet Rain, where it complements the red skin elements.

At one time, it was also considered very fashionable to add the iBUYPOWER lynx face to skins with animals, where it can "replace" the head of the beast:
Glock-18 Weasel

AK-47 Jaguar

Now stickers iBUYPOWER Katowice 2014 and iBUYPOWER (Holo) Katowice 2014 have such a cult status that many collectors sculpt them on any expensive skin that comes to hand.

I am very glad that you have read my little article up to this point. Hope you like it)
