This is cool but it doesn't make sense that this much progress could be made in only 5 years.

Starkiller base would not have been possible with a planet upon inner collapse so this just shows how badly and how awful episodes 7,8 and 9 really are lol. Star killer base was so lame! cash grab star wars at it's best lol.

since you fight against vader the videogame must be placed between between star wars episode 3 and 4. I think the story is more layed alongside the official canon comic timeline. the sisters are also mentioned in the comics (you can see both 2nd and 9th) but in the films i never saw them. That means the first order does not exist at the time of jedi: fallen order or to make it more clear: the starkiller base has not been built yet.

Ilum was strip-mined for all its Kyber Crystals to the extent that that colossal trench collapsed into the planet. Decades later, the First Order crafted the small planet into Starkiller Base. I think its cool that they're continuing to reintegrate old Legends canon into the new continuity, seeing as Ilum is straight out of SW:TOR

The one on the left is ilum being strip minded for its crystals by the empire (for the death star?). at some point after the empire it was converted to starkiller base
