Translation - how? and where to add?

BASICS:
Game works with JSON .txt files, which you can be easily edited by Excel, notepad (e.g. Notepad++) or any other text editor software.

First, you need to find your 112 Operator installation folder,
for example: “C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\112 Operator”

Official language files are placed in:
\112_Data\StreamingAssets\Languages
There you can find the default file called en-US.txt (english - american). Use this file for your modifications.

FORMAT
The JSON file is formatted in a following manner:

Make sure you only replace the <text> part, leaving all the rest unchanged.
EVERY LINE MUST END WITH A ", (a quote and a coma) except for the last line.



GENERAL RULES OF TRANSLATION



Don’t translate:
[[ADDRESS]] - don’t translate
During the calls often the caller tell the player an address. It will always appear as [[ADDRESS]]. And in-game will be shown as a specific location.

Ex. [[ADDRESS]]. It's a parking lot, just behind the building.
n-game:
EN: 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. It's a parking lot, just behind the building.
PL: 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Parking, tuż za budynkiem.


Time pause [[0.1]] or [[2]] - don’t translate
There are time pauses to synchronize the text with a sound. Always as [[ + number + ]].
The time pause will not be shown in the game.
Ex:
[[0.5]]Sir?[[0.9]]. . . [[1.8]]You there?[[2.3]]
In game (english): Sir?. . . You there?

The HMTL marker
Some text will use HTML market to make the text for example bold. The markers always appear in “<” “>” and always have an ending marker “</” “>”. Inside can be one or more letter like b, img
Do not translate them.
Ex: <indent=5%></indent=5%>
<b></b>

Text formatting
“\n” - this mark will make a new line in text.
If you want to add quote symbol (“) remeber to use \ befere it.
Ex 1:
Dear Sir,\n\nWe're glad to inform that [...]
Ingame:
Dear Sir,

We're glad to inform that [...]

Ex 2:
<b> text in EN</b>
Ingame:
text in EN


Curly braces with numbers (like {1}, {2} etc.)
Those will be replaced with a name or a number.
It always consists “{“ + number + “}”.
COUTION: {TEXT} need to be translated.
for example:

Ex.
{1} was given a ticket: ${2}
Ingame:
Tom was given a ticket: $100





Mail fragments
Value like: {{ MailAddressFull( $boss.FullName ) }}; {{ $player.FullName }}
Will be generated by game. Do not transle them.
Also: everything in column EN started with “spck_”, will be substituted by a game.
Ex:
spck_weather_center
spck_emc
{{ $player.FullName }}
{{ MailAddressFull( $boss.FullName ) }}


ADDING THE TRANSLATION:

First, for testing the formatting of JSON .txt file, we recommend www.jsonlint.com

Add the new translation file to the official language files:

C:\Steam\steamapps\common\112 Operator\Operator 112_Data\StreamingAssets\Languages

Start the game and a new language will be added in the Settings.
Notice that the new translation will have the same name as the added file.

How can i upload a translation to the workshop? I have a Dutch translation available.

When I added Thai language, it showed Thai flag but the text is square symbol.
How can I fix it?

We added a flag for custom translation.
Make sure your translation file is up to date and have all the keys like default languages

I am in the same state. The flag and "Language name" are displayed on the tag, but they are dark and cannot be selected.

When ever i try to add the new language in the game i only see the text and not the flag, and i can't press on it to test i, Any help?
