Welcome to my guide for Layers of Fear 2!

For each act you will get a different achievement depending on whether or not you obey or disobey the Director. You'll need to do at least 2 playthroughs to unlock all of the achievements.

There are two (2) unmissable achievements.


Lights, Camera, Action!
Begin shooting your movie



Repair, Restore, Rebuild
Rebuild what was once broken. At least try.

Choice and Concequence
Take your first look behind the mysterious door


On the bottom floor of your cabin there is a door labeled 'Recording' go inside and you'll get the achievement. (You can get this achievement during any act when you're in your cabin I just decided to list it here)




The Perfect Storm
Send out an SOS


In Act 1 (or Act 5) when you're in the room pictured below you need to send an SOS signal. Three short signals, three long signals, three short signals.



In One Take
Get through the set without getting caught in the lights


For this achievement you need to get through the area after you pull the light switch without getting hit by the light.



Hit Your Mark
Follow direction during the first key scene



Go Off Script
Ignore direction during the first key scene


When you are given the option to shoot the mannequin on either the left or right you will get a different achievement depending on which option you choose.

A Beautiful Mind
Complete the clock puzzle without a single mistake


When you're in the workshop area with a bunch of mannequins there is a clock puzzle. For this achievement beat the clock puzzle without making a mistake.

The combination of numbers you need to input are these:

8 - 8
38 - 7, 9, 10
70 - 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10



Trust Your Instincts
Follow direction during the second key scene



Show Restraint
Ignore direction during the second key scene


When you reach the scene with the dog you are given the option to take the food from the dog or give up. (For the first few make sure you tap the buttons not hold them)

Give up for Show Restraint




We Don't Talk About It
Destroy something beautiful


After turning on the TV a chase sequence begins. At the end of the sequence you go through a door into a hallway with another door at the end. DO NOT go through the door at the end of the hallway, instead drop down through the vent to the right. Pull back the curtain and push the detonator.

Rocket Science
Journey through space without hitting a single obstacle


After you assemble the rocket you will have a little minigame-esque scene where you fly the rocket. Don't get hit by anything and the achievement is yours. If you get hit, go back to the main menu and restart from the checkpoint!



Find Your Inner Voice
Follow his direction during the third key scene



Let Go of Your Fear
Follow her direction during the third key scene


At the end of act 3 you are given the option to either shoot the toys or shoot the girl.
Shoot the toys for Find Your Inner Voice
Shoot the girl for Let Go of Your Fear

Closed Casket
Seal the Formless Man in a coffin


During act 4 you will come across a gate that you unlock using a nearby switch after a few steps you'll come across a coffin on fire and a chase will begin. Head down the stairs and continue on until you find another open coffin on the floor. Close the coffin to get the achievement.



Go With the Flow
Follow direction during the fourth key scene



Go Against the Grain
Ignore direction during the fourth key scene


During Act 4 you will be given the option to go with or against the tide.
Follow the tide and turn around for Go With the Flow
Go against the tide and walk forward for Go Against the Grain




Se7en Seas
Save all the lost souls


For this achievement you will need to interact with 5 different mannequins found in separate rooms, each room representing a deadly sin (as seen in the movie Se7en). You can leave this area by looking at the child's drawing and climbing the ladder. Make sure you've acquired the achievement before you leave. (You do not need to do these in any order just make sure you do them all)

Gluttony:
Pull the mannequins head out of the bowl and open the rat cage on the floor beside him.



Greed:
Match the pictures on the televisions to those displayed on the paintings (skull and right arm). The rat cage is under the desk on the other side of the room.



Pride:
Lift the teddy bear off the mannequins chest and open the rat cage on the other side of the room.



Sloth:
Pull the IV drip out of the mannequins arm and open the nearby rat cage.



Lust:
Remove the sheet from on top of the mannequin and unlock the rat cage to the left of the bed.

Throughout the game you are presented with 4 different scenarios where you choose whether you want to obey or disobey the Director's instructions. The games 3 different endings depend on which options you choose.


Flame
Obey the Director


Obey at least 3 of the Director's instructions when they're given to you.


Forever
Disobey the Director


Disobey at least 3 of the Director's instructions when they're given to you.


Formless
Succumb to madness


Obey twice and disobey twice. (Doesn't matter what order)


Rule of Three
Witness all three endings

Here is a full video walkthrough for every collectible! A few collectibles are locked until New Game+ (Mysterious Item #1, Mysterious Item #3, Mysterious Item #5, and Slide #11) These are time stamped in the description of the video!

***Collectibles don't unlock until you go back to your cabin, for the Phonograph Interviews and Slides you need to listen/look at all of them and then the achievements will unlock, simply collecting them all won't get you the achievement.

Bring all the mysterious items to your cabin



You Can't Handle the Truth
Decrypt a mysterious item


To decrypt a mysterious item after getting the last spyglass collectible (a conch) it will hang from a string in front of where all the mysterious items sit, simply grab the conch and plug it into the hole in front of any of the mysterious items to unlock this achievement.
