This is my High fidelity Recreation of the Lockheed L1049 Super Connie.


Main Features: Pitch Hold, Roll Leveler, Anti Ice, Petot Heat And Inertia Starters.


The Lockheed Constellation right next To the DC3 was a revolutionary airliner. It was one of the first Airliners to open up travel across the united states and the Atlantic. The Constellation entered service first as a military transport vehicle and also became a transport for president Eisenhower. The Constellation is around largely due to Howard Hughes. Howard Hughes owned an airline known as TWA or Trans World Airlines. Howard Had mentioned that A large airliner that could cross countries or the Atlantic would be needed, he was also apart of its development. The maiden flight of the super constellation was on January 3rd 1943, and from that point on with the help of the DC3 gave rise to the airliners we know of today.
