El SEAT 600 también conocido popularmente como Seiscientos,es un automóvil de turismodel segmento A producido por el fabricante español SEAT entre los años 1957 y 1973. Se construyó bajo licencia de la Fiat sobre el original Fiat 600, diseñado por el italiano Dante Giacosa. El Fiat 600 original se presentó en el salón del automóvil de Ginebra de 1955.
La comercialización del SEAT 600 disminuyó paulatinamente, por la creciente competencia de modelos de otras marcas más atractivos al consumidor. Por ejemplo, el Renault 5, que llegó a superar las ventas del 600, con una estética más moderna y mejores sistemas de seguridad, se popularizó rápidamente en el mercado europeo. Sin olvidar la llegada del Seat 127, nuevo y flamante modelo de la marca, más moderno y más seguro, rivaliza directamente con el Renault 5.
Otro motivo para el cese de la producción fue que el pilar B del 600 era débil y estrecho, lo que dificultaba instalar correctamente los cinturones de seguridad, cuando se hicieron obligatorios en España.
A pesar de haber tenido varios rediseños, el 3 de agosto de 1973 finalizó la producción del SEAT 600. Los trabajadores de SEAT despidieron el último 600 con una pancarta que ponía: «Naciste príncipe y mueres rey». Hasta 1973 se fabricaron 799.419 unidades en la factoría de la Zona franca de Barcelona, de las que en 2007 aún quedaban unas 10.000 en circulación.

The SEAT 600, also popularly known as Six Hundred, is a segment A passenger car produced by the Spanish manufacturer SEAT between the years 1957 and 1973. It was built under a Fiat license on the original Fiat 600, designed by the Italian Dante Giacosa. The original Fiat 600 was unveiled at the 1955 Geneva Motor Show.
The commercialization of the SEAT 600 decreased gradually, due to the increasing competition from models of other brands more attractive to the consumer. For example, the Renault 5, which went beyond the sales of the 600, with a more modern aesthetic and better security systems, quickly became popular in the European market. Not forgetting the arrival of the Seat 127, the brand new and brand new model, more modern and safer, directly rivals the Renault 5.
Another reason for the cessation of production was that the B-pillar of the 600 was weak and narrow, making it difficult to properly install seat belts, when they became mandatory in Spain.
Despite having had several redesigns, production of the SEAT 600 ended on August 3, 1973.
