The best methods to level up are the following:

• Kill harder enemies for better XP (The higher the enemy's level higher the XP gain)
  
• Play public events that requires to kill many waves of enemies such as “Guided Meditation at
  The Palace of the Winding Path” and “One Violent Night at the Sons of Dane Compound”.
  
• Claim and defend workshops. You can find them all over the map

Keep in mind that you can boost the amount of XP gained with these tips:

• Sleeping on a sleeping bag will grant +5% XP for 1 hour. Sleeping in a bed for 2 hours.
  
• Using the bubblehead: leader will grant +5% XP for 1 hour.
  
• Eating the cranberry relish will grant +10% XP for 1 hour. It does stack with the sleeping buff
  up to +15%.

Fully Rank Up one Perk
After leveling up pick the same cards and rank them up until they are maxed out.

Build a C.A.M.P.
Self explanatory achievement. Open the Pip-Boy and press “Z” to deploy your C.A.M.P.

Self explanatory achievement. After you deploy your C.A.M.P. just build 20 items.

Self explanatory achievement. After you deploy your C.A.M.P. just build 100 items.

Kill Another Player
After hitting level 5 turn off the pacifist mode and hunt down a player. If you find difficult to kill someone play the Nuclear Winter battle royale mode.


Bounty Hunter
Kill a Wanted Player
You can easily get the achievement following this steps:

1. Have a friend go to your base
   
2. Put a lock on a door
   
3. Have your friend pick the lock
   
4. They become wanted
   
5. Kill your friend and get the achievement

Good Grief!
Kill 20 Players
After hitting level 5 turn off the pacifist mode and hunt down 20 player. If you find difficult to kill someone play the Nuclear Winter battle royale mode.


Never Go it Alone
Join 20 Teams
After joining a world invite as many players as you can to your team up to 20. If you join a player twice it still counts.

Once in a team made your friend kill himself and revive him 20 times.

In order to find 20 magazines you can explore the map or use the trick I found here to quickly get the magazines you need.


Ground Zero
Be at Ground Zero of a Nuclear Blast
When someone on your server launches a nuke, you will have 2:30 to travel to the red circle on the map. Once you get there, you will see a radiation symbol pointing toward the center of the circle. Rush toward this and be directly on top of it. When the nuke lands unlock the achievement by dying.


Gimme Gimme!
Pick 50 Locks
Self explanatory achievement. You will get this just by playing the game.


Code Cruncher
Hack 50 Terminals
Self explanatory achievement. You will get this just by playing the game.


Monet of Murder
Mod 50 Weapons
Self explanatory achievement. Find a workbench and then craft 50 weapon mods.


Tested Mettle
Complete 5 Challenges
Self explanatory achievement. You will get this more or less in the first hours of the game.


A Real Challenger
Complete 20 Challenges
Self explanatory achievement. You will get this more or less in the first hours of the game.


Moneybags
Possess 10,000 Caps
It may seem difficult because it’s very hard to find caps in the game but fortunately the achievement is cumulative. You don't need to hoard your caps thinking you need 10,000 at once. You will unlock this over time.
You will find caps on dead bodies, containers and as a reward after completing events and quests.


Retro Now
Play a Holotape Game
You will begin the game with the Tapper holotape game, and can play it right away after getting your Pip-Boy.


Giant Slayer
Kill 5 Giant Creatures
Later in the game you will find giant creatures such as Deathclaws, Behemoth Super Mutants, Mirelurk Queens, Mega Sloths, Scorchbeasts, Hermit Crabs, Flatwoods Monsters, Grafton Monsters, Mothmans, Yao Guais, Vertibirds, and Sheepsquach. Kill 5 of them and the achievement will unlock.

Discover 100 Location
There are way more than 100 location so if you like to explore the map you will have zero problem getting this.

Story related, in order to unlock this achievement you must chose The Raiders faction at a certain point in the DLC campaign. If you already got this and want to unlock "A Golden Future" create a new character and play the DLC campaign again but this time chose The Foundation instead of The Raiders.

Story related, in order to unlock this achievement you must chose The Foundation faction at a certain point in the DLC campaign. If you already got this and want to unlock "Go for the Gold" create a new character and play the DLC campaign again but this time chose The Raiders instead of The Foundation.


Wish Upon A Star
Complete Sofia’s story
This is a DLC side quest, in order to start it you have to be at least level 20. You will encounter a new NPC called Sofia Daguerre just by playing the game. Help her and after completing all the quests you will unlock the achievement. If you have trouble click here[fallout.fandom.com].


Behind the Curtain
Complete Beckett’s story

A Solid Foundation
Become allies with Foundation

Friends in Low Places
Become allies with Crater
This achievement and A Solid Foundation are the most time consuming in the entire game. In order to unlock them you have to increase the faction level to "Ally".
You will get the majority of the "faction experience" by playing the DLC campaign and then you will have to complete the daily quest for the faction to gain some extra experience. I suggest to create a second character to ally with the second faction so you can grind for both at the same time. I think that in about 2 months after completing the main quest you will unlock the achievement.


Gold Rush
Gain 300 gold bullion

The New Fort Knox
Gain 1500 gold bullion
The gold bullion is a new currency added to the game by the Westlanders DLC. You will unlock this currency only after you complete the DLC campaign. In order to get it try these methods:

• Exchange up to 6000 caps for 300 gold bullion at The Wayward talking to Smiley once a week.
  
• Complete any public event and you will receive some Treasury Notes. The quantity is
  determined by the difficulty of the event. Then you can exchange a Treasury Note for 10
  gold bullion twenty time a day. You can exchange them through the gold press machines
  located both in The Foundation and in The Crater.
  
• Complete the daily quest for both The Foundation and The Crater.
