Like I said, I still do find playing the single player and at least the global challenges still fun, but yeah, normal online with pubs is impossible most of the times. Actually recently I tried it again only to also now find modders ruining the lobbies by zooming or teleporting even through the track. So frankly, that online play is beyond salvagable at this point - Only good to play with like friends only. On the bright side, this guide can actually help anyone make a friends only lobby to prevent any script kiddies joining in middle of the game only to ruin it.
tl;dr public online lobbies completely suck now, especially thanks to hacks, anything else is still fun and hopefully this guide helps anyone keep away modders from their lobbies
