Introduction
While playing Team Fortress 2, you are probably going to encounter a mix of play-styles, personalities and loadouts that are far from what you expect. This guide will teach you whether or not they are worth fighting, and whether or not you should kill them when given the chance.

Classes classified as "harmless" should be left alone or at least given a chance to do something dumb before you kill them.

Classes classified as "unsafe" will try to kill you, but probably won't have much luck.

Classes classified as "threatening" are very dangerous, and should be killed on sight or ran away from.

Classes classified as "very threatening" should not be approached and avoided at all costs.
Scunt
Classification: Threatening
Scunts use their obnoxiously coloured cosmetics to draw attention to themselves, whether they do this to hurt your eyes or to try and strike fear into the hearts of players is unknown. Most Scunts pair their Force-A-Natures with the dreaded Crit-a-Cola, allowing them to maximise their damage output and knockback. The best way to combat a Scunt is too dodge their two shots and attack when they're reloading, or to wait for it to kill someone else, as they often laugh taunt after every kill they get.
Fish Scout
Classification: Unsafe
Fish Scouts run around with a fish. As long as you stay out of swinging distance, you should be safe from them. They should not be underestimated though, they often hide around corners or get up into hard to see spots to ambush you.
Trolldier
Classification: Unsafe
Trolldiers use their Rocket Jumpers and Market Gardeners to jump around suicide bombing people who don't see them coming. They can be easily countered by just looking up or making yourself hard to predict. The best way to attack a trolldier is to wait for them to land and bombard them with damage before they take off. They probably already took fall damage so they shouldn't be hard to kill.
Pyro Shark
Classification: Very Threatening
Pyro Sharks can be found in maps with large sections of water, but most commonly 2Fort. They patrol the 2Fort sewers with their Neon Annihilators, jumping those who don't see them coming. Unlike the Fish Scout, Pyro Sharks are dangerous from out of melee range, as they still use their flamethrowers, shotguns and flare guns. You're better off just avoiding Pyro Sharks.
Pybro
Classification: Threatening
An Engineer's best friend, the Pybro is a formidable opponent. They hang around sentry nests, airblasting away uber pushes and projectiles while spychecking the area. The best way to combat a Pybro is to draw them away from the sentry nest and then trick-stab or ambush them. Keep in mind these guys are masters of airblasting, so you shouldn't be using projectiles to kill them.
Oog
Classification: Harmless
Oog is a stock Demoman who surrounds himself with sticky bombs, saying the phrase "oog is trapped in cage built by oog".
Hoovy
Classification: Harmless
A Hoovy is a Heavy who is crouched on the ground, giving out free sandwiches to people who walk past.
Boxer
Classification: Unsafe
Boxers are Heavies using the Buffalo Steak Sandvich and Killing Gloves of Boxing, they run around punching people with their critical hits. Being more powerful Fish Scouts with little to no mobility, Boxers are quite easy to take care of. Just don't get caught by surprise.
Fat Scout
Classification: Threatening
The Fat Scout is often disregarded as a harmless joke class, but you have to remember it is still a Heavy with a shotgun. Although they are quite easy to take down if you see them coming, they are very difficult in close range situations if they have good tracking.
Mildly Overweight Scout
Classification: Threatening
The Mildly Overweight Scout is an Engineer who runs around with his shotgun and pistol. They should be treated as a Scout with less mobility, as they have just enough speed to dodge bullets but are nowhere near as fast.
Battle Medic
Classification: Threatening
Despite sporting a low health pool and few attack options, the Battle Medic can deal a lot of damage in the right place. It's attacks are all projectiles or melee though, so keep your distance and stay unpredictable to escape relatively okay.
Jarate Master
Classification: Unsafe
Jarate Masters are Snipers who throw Jarate. They're harmless unless you get attacked before the effects wear off, just avoid them or hide after getting hit.
Spy Crab
Classification: Harmless
The Spy Crab crouches while looking up with his disguise kit out, making him look like a crab.
Box Spy
Classification: Harmless
A Spy that walks around in a box, stopping when someone sees them.
