Turn the key on,t he default gear is Neutral (0) and you will have to shift gears to foward and backward by pressing 2 for up and 1 for down. I recomand you to release the throttle when you shift gears.

First of all, this truck is based on the Standard of Interchangeability Between Tractors and Trailers(SIBTaT) and it uses the (UCT) microcontrollers to ensure the connection between tractor and trailer. (link for Grunwald 40ft trailer that you can see on pictures)

Semi-automatic transmssion
It is a 8 Speed + Reverse gearbox. For reverse gear, you have to hold brake and then downshift when you are on neutral position. I recomand you to release the throttle when you shift gears.
Semi-automatic transmissions allow you to combine the two types of conventional transmission. Which mean that you can shift gears without touching at the clutch at all. I know that automatic transmissions are way much easier to drive but it's not fun as a manuel transmission. So the semi-automatic is a good deal between boths.

Fuel consumption
You got 2 gauges at your left on the dashboard to show you the fuel consumption with the conventional unit: Litre/100km. The left one is in real time and the right on is the average fuel consumption. The adventage of this is that you can know how many kilometers you have left to do depending the actual load of your vehicle. You will probably see that the amount of litres per 100km is decent and the real reason for this is for the gameplay. If it was real, no one would fill their tank anymore.

Lights
Blinkers will go off by themselves when the steering return in his opposite direction. You only have one push button for lights modes: off, headlights, headlights and top lights.
