3D Proximity Chat

This addon makes it so that the in-game voice chat is local and plays on stereo rather than mono. In other words, if someone is talking to you from your left, you'll hear it in your left ear, and if someone is talking to you from far away, they'll be quiet.

sv_maxVoiceAudible - default 1500 - Maximum distance for listener to still be able to hear the talker
sv_proxChatEnable - default 1 - Enables/disables proximity chat


There was an update to gmod some time ago that anally devastated voice chat volume. Here are some commands to fix it!

SND_restart
VOICE_MAXGAIN 10
OR
voice_gain_max 10
