Gargan Z10 - SAR boat

The Gargan Z10 is a reworked version of the Z9 as a SAR (Search And Rescue) vehicle. It has a top speed of 50 knots and a maximum range of over 200km. It’s equipped with both a towing winch and a handheld fire hose, and lots of other smart equipment making it a very capable SAR boat.

Flip the “Main Power” Switch on the left side of the driver seat.
Turn the “Engines ON” key.
Use either W/S to control throttle forwards or backwards.
Use the throttle lever on you right side as sticky throttle. This can also be controlled with the up/down buttons. (This lever does not have reverse. Press “S” to reverse, but keep the throttle lever at 0 when you do.)
You can use the heading hold autopilot by pressing the button on the center console or by pressing “1” Touching the steering [A/D] will disengage the heading hold.



Keep an eye on the battery charge once in a while (Gauge right above the main power switch). To recharge the battery, just use the engines a lot.

This is a small and light boat with a lot of potential speed, so in high waves keep an eye on the bow and keep throttle low enough that it doesn’t jump out of the water.

It has a small connector and an electrical connector at the bow in case it needs to be towed.

You’ll find a storage compartment at the bow with scuba and arctic gear.

On the port side of the steering console you’ll find the fuel connector, and on the other side an electrical connector going straight to the battery.
