@svenosman: A cloak spell will last for 3min regardless of whether it is dual-casted.

From http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Lightning_Cloak and is true for all cloak spells:
"Dual casting significantly increases its range (4.84 times the covered area), but does not increase damage.."

How about dual casting? Since the formula is 2.2x spell effectiveness for 2.8x spell cost, will the cloak last 2.2 * 3 = 6.36 minutes?
