Description
Are your simple robot armies not enough? Do you need something more powerfull? Be ready for:

RETURN OF THE ANDROID ARMIES!


As soon as you research the "Synthetics"-Tech they become automatically avaible.

They disappeared from the game in previous versions but now they are back! Now you can finally also have Tech 2 armies for your robotic-focused empire (again).


Current concerns:
-At the moment there are no known bugs and there shouldn't be any conflicts with other mods.
-I use the army icons from the machine empires, so you can tell them better apart from the robotic armies.
-One thing, where I can do absolutely nothing without messing to much up: Army names. Currently it uses some kind of fallback system where it makes use of the planets names. The result: Earth Army 1, 2, 3 and so on.

Balancing:
Example: Android armies and Genewarriors have the same basic health and attack values, but organic armies can, with certain traits, become significantly stronger than their mechanic counterparts. Android-armies, on the other hand, can be produced faster, are immun to morale damage and that they generate far less war exhaustion in case of their destruction but they also cause higher collateral damage This is, nethertheless, still far better than sticking around with those regular robotic armies.

I hadn't paid enough attention to this game to notice this wasn't in here but yeah, I never used the robot warriors once I get gene warriors or like, psionics. Thanks.

Hey, funny thing. I actually already updated my mod yesterday but somehow forgot to upload it. Ups^^. My bad. It should now be properly on 3.7.

Hey, I'm making an army mod which brings back android armies too as a small part of it, do you mind if I look at what you did here and implement some of it if need be?

And by the way, in new game versions you can add use_armynames_from = x_namelist to fix your namelist issue! They added it with necroids I believe.

No problem, but I should mention that those values never were my idea. I was able to salvage some of the game files of the older version of the game and just used the original values of the android armies. I still have no idea why the developer threw them out in the first place.

Yes, I adjusted for the bonus and got around this:
Army Damage: 225-450
Morale Damage:280-560

They seem quite a bit better than regular defense army mostly due to the dmorale difference of their invulnerability to morale plus higher morale damage.
