@ The Atomic Option You don't have to do this, It will work without it. All it does is add the 1.4 tag.

This mod can easily be converted to work for 1.3 steps are:
1. install the mod
2. locate the folder where the mod is installed
3. in the mod's folder copy the folder named 1.2 to a new folder named 1.3 with identical contents
4. in the About folder, open the file About.xml in a text editor. After the line that says "<li>1.2</li>" make a new line that says "<li>1.3</li>". Save and close the file.

And you're done! The mod will now show as 1.3 compatible and will work just fine.
Also a general compatibility note: If you have Yayo's Animations mod, you must disable the "combat" animations in that mod in order for this mod's animations to work.
