We return to Germany once more with another S-Bahn line. Loads of trains and stations in a fairly small space might sound intimidating, but don't worry, as a passenger-focused route, the jobs are in fairly accessible places. Every last one is at a passenger station! No need to walk out in the middle of an industrial area this time.

As a shorter route, there are only 80 jobs to collect. And like the old days, there are an equal number of four types of collectables to find. But, unlike earlier times, there aren't any new job types. Those who have already completed all the jobs on other routes will already know just what to look for this time around.

Combine this with the easy locations of every job, and this is one of the few routes where it really is worth a try to do it on your own, and just use the guide to finish up the few things you might miss.

Where there are stations, there are route map jobs. Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr is absolutely not an exception. With loads of stations and passenger trains, there are plenty of maps to find.

You all know the drill by now. Find the white rectangular boards at station platforms. Walk up to them, and the map graphic is pasted on.
All jobs are equal on this route, so, just as with the other jobs, there are 20 route maps.


The ticket machine returns once more, again in a slightly different color palette appropriate to the region, but largely looking the same as before.

Look for a black bag covering a tall object at the station platform. Walk up to it to uncover the ticket machine.
Go figure, there are 20 ticket machines to uncover.


The fire extinguisher returns from Long Island, and in identical appearance.

These can be small and stealthy. You must look for the red fire extinguisher holder with only one fire extinguisher stowed. Walk up to it to place the second fire extinguisher in the adjacent slot.
There are 20 more of these.


And we have another returning job. The poster always changes in appearance, however, and this time around it is as flashy as ever!

While similar to the route maps, the posters are narrower. Find the tall and skinny plain poster on the wall. Walk up to it to apply the 'Industry Fest' graphic. (Wonder if it'll be canceled.)
And to finish off the last 80, there are 20 of these.

This time, we'll start in the West and head East. Find a good S-Bahn service and ride along!

At this point, we will take the S-Bahn side of the split. You can go to either side and do the other one later at this point. This split is really the only bit of complexity to job completion on this route.

Surprisingly, that was quite an easy set of jobs. All thanks to the fact that none of them were in any out-of-the-way location. Not every route can offer such an approachable setup, which makes this route uniquely simple, and pretty non-tedious.
