6 slot mid-game cruiser. $487k credits, 8k iron, and 46k trinium to construct. Crews a minimum of 10 engineers and 15 mechanics. 21.9k hull HP and 26.5k shield HP. Hangar space for 5 small fighters. 7.8 sector jump range. 2 torpedo tubes.

Opted for TMP scale on this model, which puts the saucer at the same diameter as one from a Constitution class cruiser.

At this scale, the Miranda is a more practical starship. The raised secondary hull has as much inner volume as the Constitution class's cylindrical drive section, at a lower material cost and overall profile. This ship easily navigates the narrow spaces in dense asteroid fields and offers a smaller target when directly advancing on a hostile vessel.

You can get away with only 3 PDWs on this hull. Your first and strongest PDW goes on the small turret mount at the back of the roll bar module. The other two go on the turret mounts under the nacelles.

There's a lot of cargo volume on this craft, which you can swap out for shields, generators, and hangars.
