On the release of Operation Void Edge, Recruit was "reworked" removing various guns, and adding more features to be more "beginner friendly". The original recruit rush was removed on attack side.

This guide aims to show people how they can continue to recruit rush in the new season.

Players
Recruit rush is highly recommended to be done with friends (2 or higher). This can be done solo, but it's more fun with friends (also referred to as Power Rangers)


Gamemode
Recruit rush can only be done on Quick Match (Casual), as there is no recruit in ranked ;(

Basic Rules
For recruit rushing, it is important for everyone to use the same equipment and weapons. It's also important to stay together. Sticking as a unit is both effective and makes you and your team UNSTOPPABLE!

Rework Notes
Recruit has been changed to a permanent two-armor and two-speed. This may affect the speed of the rush when attacking. Previously the GSG 9 faction Recruit was a three-speed. Also note that Recruit now has pre-set sights for each weapon, and that he also has 2 reinforcements.

Remember that
Blue Team - Attack Start
Orange Team - Defend start

As M870 was removed on attack, the original recruit rush has been fully removed from siege. However, recruit rush can still be done!

LMG Rush
M249 is the LMG on the attack side (Capitao and Gridlock). It's perfect for recruit rushing.
The high ammo count and high damage is literally designed to make the other team scream in terror. Plus the LMG is great for focusing on rushing and not reloading. This paired with C75 Auto, Smoke Grenades AND Frag Grenades, will make your team a force to be reckoned with.



Super Shorty Rush
The Super Shorty is PERFECT for a recruit shotgun rush (Mozzie and Gridlock). While nothing can truly replace the M870 rush, the Super Shorty has a potential meme factor that has never been seen before. You must be very close to do ANY sort of damage. This makes it perfect for a recruit rush. If you use this tactic you are guaranteed to impose dominance over the enemy team.

Suicide Rush
Frag Grenades aren't a new addition, however the addition of an extra frag have allowed for new ways to play recruit. This challenge is simple. Can you only use frag grenades? Suicide Rush is a difficult challenge for anyone wanting to recruit rush with a twist. It is recommended to have a whole team for this challenge.

Thankfully, the original (OG) defence can still be done. In defence, Tachanka (The Lord) can be used with his long-range turret. YOU CAN ONLY USE M870! (Jäger and Bandit Shotgun)

Bunker Defence
The best way to play defence is bunkering up. This is where you MUST stay in the objective. You better pray they didn't bring a hard-breacher. The best strategy is to sit in the same room, placing Reinforced Shields around each doorway with Barbed Wire all along the floor. Tachanka can be very useful, as his mounted turret can provide long-range support.





Roam Defence
Roam Defence is simple. NO ONE CAN BE IN OBJ, AND YOU ALL MUST BE ROAMING! However, you can enter the obj, if:
A. The enemies have planted (Bomb)
B. Capturing objective (Capture)
C. Grabbed the hostage (Hostage)
