Description
Standard of Interchangeability Between Tractors and semi-Trailers
! Also you can read SIBTaT Guide Here

This standard is designed to ensure the interchangeability of truck tractors and trailers of different authors among themselves.
We will be happy if you develop your tractors and trailers in accordance with this standard.

Only electric saddle connector
Dimensions:
11 blocks - truck and trailer width
8 blocks - max distance from saddle pin to rear of truck frame
8 blocks - min distance from the saddle pin to the rear wall of the tractor cab
6 blocks - max distance from pin to trailer front wall
9 blocks - min distance from the saddle pin to the low part of the trailer (for example, to the falling paws of the trailer)

Microcontrollers (optional)
Two microcontrollers are included that you can install to transfer data between the tractor and trailer. A tractor-mounted microcontroller is not necessary if you provide data transmission via a composite signal through the fifth wheel coupling connector.

These two universal controllers support the transmission of data both through the signals "on / off" and "number", and through a composite signal. In the properties of the microcontroller, you can select the operating mode. In any case, the transfer of data from the tractor to the controller in the trailer is via a composite signal.

In order not to install the controller in the tractor, you can apply a composite signal to the saddle with the following codes:
1 - left turn signal
2 - right turn signal
3 - brake light
4 - reverse
5 - marker lights
6 - parking brake
Numerical Signals:
1 - Brake
2 - Turning the wheels of the trailer

You can find some truck trailers for this containers
on the JarnSorm page

what about a Heavy duty version of this (15 block wide trucks)

An admirable goal needs to be more widespread

This can create some difficulties in the operation of trailers, so if you are using a suspension (especialy hight settings), I recommend using a height of 6 blocks.
In any case, you can download several different trailers and try them out with your truck.

Ok, maybe I was not clear enough about that question.
In the model, you use wheels with no suspension. I prefer wheels with suspension, but suspension makes the vehicle higher.

1) The pin height is indicated on the gray ruler on the left side of the frame.

A couple of question:
1) How does suspension count? Is it included in the height of the pin? (Suspension is very useful!)
2) Are the cables for Composite and Electricity necessary? Because the Electric Connector already can send both and that would allow for easier pick-up and release of trailers, since you just need to release one pin instead of manualy managing cables. (Cables can still be optical add-on)

The on / off signal for flashing lamps is best transmitted from the tractor.

so, weird question, should the blinking bit be in the trailer controller or recieved from the on/off 1/2
