Seed Finder

Seed Finder is a mod to easily find a seed with specific starting items. It will automatically restart until the first treasure room is containing the item you want.

1. Subscribe to both this mod and Mod Config Menu
   
2. Start a new game
   
3. Press 'L' on your keyboard to open Mod Config Menu
   
4. Select the items you want to find
   
5. Press 'T' to begin the search
   
6. Enjoy !

After opening Mod Config Menu by pressing 'L', you will notice 4 tabs in Seed Finder's settings :

• General : Here you will find option for quick reseed, replace first item in treasure room and you will also be able to reset all items settings to 'Off' or 'On'
  
• Best : Here you will find my personnal selection of the best items to find in treasure room. They are all on 'On' by default, but you can quickly turn them all on 'Off' in the 'General' tab
  
• Passive : Here you will find all passive items that you can find in treasure room
  
• Active : Here you will find all active items that you can find in treasure room

In the 'General' tab, there is an option called 'Replace First Item'. This is a bonus feature. If you turn this 'ON', then the mod will no longer look for a seed, but instead it will just replace the item from the first treasure room with one random item matching your filters. If you select only one item in your filters, then you will have this item guaranteed in the first treasure room.
Using this option will obviously make the seed not matching with other player, as they're going to get the regular non replaced item.

• Using the option 'Quick Reseed' will get much quicker result, but the seed found will not be replayable and sharable. It's because it's randomizing the level but it's not changing the current seed. It's much faster because it's not really restarting a game everytime, but don't use this if you want to share or replay your seeds.
  
• It is possible to use this mod without Mod Config Menu, but you will not be able to change default filter or enable 'Quick reseed'
  
• Obviously, this mod can be used to cheat the game and choose to only have great start everytime. Please just try to not abuse it too much. For exemple, try to keep your filters as wide as possible to keep at least a minimum of surprise effect. If you always cheat too hard, you're probably going to lose interest in the game ;p
  
• You need to have your game language set to english to have the mod working properly. The mod is searching items by their names, so it will not find items with translated names.
