So this guide is just for people who come across scammers, ain't no shame in getting some help.
Have a read, you may learn something
Roulette scams
The roulette scams are really common when it comes to the community, if you have come across the roulette site promoters to steal your account, they all have the same format, they are all identical just with a different background, and the person will control the fake accounts you see saying "I'll show you it's 'safe', I'll choose somebody to win, your pick".They all look something like this image by the way.
Fake admin scams
These scams could either go two ways, they could start complaining how they accidentally reported you OR, you did a trade with someone, they act like your friend, and they ask to 'verify' your items, If they do send you a person who is pretending to be an admin, check their badges, if they do not have the valve badge, they are not admins, admins do not ask for peoples items, because why would they?
Fake sites
If it is 'promote my competitive team' or 'a trading site' you have never heard of, just don't bother, they'll get into your account the moment you sign up.
Fake friends
Self explanatory, but to avoid this, don't trade with anyone, I have no idea if this is a thing, my friend told me some one disguised as me and i asked for his items, which i didn't...
Accidental report
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I already covered this one in the fake admin, but I'll just re-cap it anyway, they say they 'reported you', then it'll lead to the admin, then you get the rest, ALSO I forgot to mention that they plan this days/ hours before confronting you, they'll make a .GIF file of them reporting your account and saying it will be banned in a certain time limit, DO NOT FALL FOR IT!
Final message
SO that wraps things up, I think I'm done here, oh and another thing, they tend to find you in groups, they sit in their chair all day looking through people's backpack until they find their victim. so relax, if this did help... use it as advice/ help? i dunno, but calm down, take a breathe, block the person, and put some tunes on, you're gonna be okay, anything else you're having problems with, comment down below.
