"Heirs" Ending.

Requirements:

Do not restore the vestiges of ANY of the successors.

Walk through the door after the battle against a successor without speaking to their petrified body (which can only be spoken to if their vestiges were restored prior to defeating them)

"Heirs" is considered to be the bad ending of the game. To achieve this, walk past each successor and exit through the gate during each of their post-fight memories without restoring them.

"To Eternity" Ending.

Requirements:

Restore both the vestiges and memory of at least one, but not all of, the successors.

Leave all but at least one of the successors in their petrified state

To do this, walk away from the petrified successor and pass through the door after viewing the memory of each successor boss.

So, to achieve this ending, restore the memory of 1-3 of the four successors

"To Eternity" is the neutral ending of the game. To obtain this ending, save at least one successor by restoring all their vestiges before fighting them, then restoring their memory after the battle

An example is when you face the Successor of the Throat. Before facing her, you'll need to restore all of the Harmonia vestiges in order to unlock the option to restore their memory.

"Dweller In The Dark" Ending.

Requirements:

Restore all vestiges of the successors before their respective boss fights, then, restore the memories of each successor by interacting with their petrified body during their memory. DO NOT go through the large door at the end of each successors' memory.

"Dweller in the Dark" is often viewed as the true ending of the game. In order to achieve this ending, you'll need to save all four successors by restoring their memories after each battle against the successor. By doing that, you'll have to find their respective vestiges and repair them before heading into the boss fight. You'll find an Eos vestige outside of the crypt for each Successor after their battle, while the remaining are found in Provisional Government Center.

To unlock an additional scene to this ending, you must find all of the Eos vestiges and to restore them for Io. Be sure you've restored the Eos vestiges before facing the final boss.

sorry for the necro (not rlly) but if i get all of the eos frags in a 'bad ending' run do i need to recollect them again to achieve the true ending later or does that make the true ending a 'forced' for any good ending? i guess im asking if the game sees having a maxed out blood code as 'you got all the fragments' on ng+?

i playing this right now and i wanna have secret ending but looks like i gonna have only good bcs i saved all bosses and collect all ios vestiges but didnt kll final boss so im sad :(

@Zoiyya you also need to do the true ending without restoring Io's vestige

ie. all the endings you need is 4 not 3:

-Bad ending
-Neutral ending
-Good/True ending (restoring all successors, but not completely collecting all Io's vestiges, since it will count as if you restored them if you collect all of them)
-True ending + extra (restoring all the successors and restoring all IO's vestiges)

so you need to do 4 playthoughs (or do what I commented earlier here, to get both true endings in just 1 playthrough. So you only need to do 3 playthoughs)

@below/Zoiyya If it's not giving you the achievement for unlocking all 3 endings, then it's likely bugged.. Sometimes restarting the game helps.

to get both the dweller in the dark ending, and the true dweller in the dark ending in one playthrough (so you can just go with 3 playthrough to get 100% faster, instead of 4 playthroughs):

-Leave atleast 1 of Io's vestige behind (Do not collect it! Collecting all, even if you don't restore it counts as if you restored all of them)
-Finish the game (you will be sent back to the menu, just load/continue, you will be sent to the last mistle you are before the final fight)
-Collect and Restore all Io's vestiges
-Finish the game again
>Done

(you now have 2 of all the 4 endings needed for the get all endings achievement, you just need to do the neutral and good ending.

If you got both the queen blood code and the dweller in the dark achievement at the same time, you did it wrong and you need to start another playthough to get the achievement)

I almost got the true ending on a blind play though, but I couldn't find one of NIcola's vesiges, that was on a hidden path that lead to the locked gate near the start of the snow level. DX
