I wish there was an actual NG+, it would've been cool (maybe unlocking some other skins, like ember and cinder from that gamecube game).

Technically you can receive level storage from second game and play any game in that state.
This wasn't planned but was discovered a year ago. It's a cool glitch since it gives something unique to the game, plus this feature isn't available in original trilogy.

is there a new game plus? I thought it only continued with all levels cleared.
