Description
Explore the Dagon Cavern's with ease using low thrust and auto hold technology.

The CETO LRE (long range exploration) 630 V2 was developed for those who want to spend more time under water and operate with realism.

How to Operate:

1) Diesel engine needs pumps (fuel, air, and cooling) in order to start. Shut off diesel engine before diving (turn off pumps button). Diesel engine does NOT operate under water. After surfacing you may have to push starter button for a longer period of time because of water intrusion in snorkel.

2)Use "ECO mode" button 3 (small single thrust prop on rear of sub) to conserve battery power when operating under water. Or use main electric throttle, but you will drain battery power more quickly.

3) Batteries will automatically charge while operating (on surface, diesel running). Switch to charge battery mode to charge up batteries more quickly ( you will be unable to make way in this mode). Also, relays are set at certain percentage points to automatically charge the battery banks for emergency surface power and emergency start power. There are three separate battery systems and they all work independently of one another.

4) Automatic bilge system is fitted throughout. An additional emergency bilge system is equipped for survivability purposes.

5) WATER PRESSURE: The deeper you dive the greater affect pressure will have on pumps, including ballast pumps!. Consider this when using dive locker or combating flooding.

6) Auto Depth Hold: Player - Input desired depth into keypad, do not use negative numbers. EX: You want to dive to 30 meters, input 30, NOT -30. "Stationary" depth uses electric props to maintain a stationary position when NOT making way. "Transiting" depth uses submarine fins to control the depth of the submarine while the sub is making way. EX: ECO mode on, use Transiting depth hold. ECO mode not on, and electric motor throttle at zero, and speed is at zero, then use stationary depth hold.

- Ideally you would want to use Transiting depth hold in conjunction with ECO mode to maximize battery life (only one prop motor operating). Stationary depth hold uses 4 prop motors thus consuming more battery power.

- To conserve the greatest amount of battery power, use ballast pumps to dive and surface the submarine. This is much slower, but will drastically reduce the drain on your batteries.

7) I built this submarine to operate as close as possible to a real working CETO sub if one actually existed. It was designed to be an exploration submarine which is why it purposely does not have specific rescue equipment on it. Hopefully some of the explanation above helps anyone who has already downloaded this submarine and anyone who may come across it in the future.

Key features:

-100+ km range

-3.4 km range underwater (low thrust mode)

-Auto bilge pumps with emergency back up system

Let me know if there are any issues.

@Cobra: Compressed gas tanks and controls for ballast, dive locker, and sub compartments. A few other changes, like a vent for the fuel tank, filters for fluid types and some equipment changes. Additionally, changed the outside color. Adjusted crush depth controls and a few other bits here and there.
