As of version 0.9.004 cheat mode is now disabled. This thread contains the games changelog

This started, initially; in a thread by user Gambon about a built in level editor.. Without delving into the specifics; the commands used in that thread were MacOS specific, and didn't work on my Windows version of the game. So I started mashing the ol' keyboard and found out there was a cheat-mode built into the game.

Not wanting to continually spam Gambon's thread about the level-editor; I created my own here. I soon realized however that eventually the thread would be lost to the masses (because who searches before posting right?) and a more lasting version should be made. Thus; this guide.

As of current; because I only have a Windows machine to test on; these commands are only known to work on Windows. I'm sure there are MacOS equals but I don't know what they are. If someone want's to find them; I'll gladly update this guide to be more universal.

On Windows CTRL+F will enable it (you'll see "cheat mode" on the bottom left). Please be aware that it must say "Cheat Mode" in the bottom left corner of your screen for any of these to work. Also be aware that any of these can (and sometimes do) cause glitches. In my experience; turning off cheat mode, and exiting all the way to your desktop; then reloading your safe seems to get things working again.

• CTRL+G add 10 of (it seems) EVERYTHING to your inventory.
  
• CTRL+K spawns an ENEMY portal.
  CTRL+ 1-9 spawns a mob under your cursor as follows:
  
• 1 Black whisp
  
• 2 Skeleton
  
• 3 Zombie
  
• 4 Big Ogre
  
• 5 C'thu'ulu
  
• 6 Chicken
  
• 7 Sheep
  
• 8 Goblin
  
• 9 Spider

• CTRL+N sets the time to dusk
  
• CTRL+D sets the time to dawn
  
• NUMBER KEYS WITHOUT CTRL: Game speed modifiers. 1 = Normal; 9 = 9x speed.

• CTRL+W Causes a rain storm
  
• CTRL+R Unlocks the full skill tree
  
• CTRL+S Hides UI
  
• CTRL+H Shows the area denoted as your "House"
  
• CTRL+C Shows a coordinate system
  
• CTRL+V removes the fog of war
  
• CTRL+L Unlocks all 3 levels / worlds for play. Must be done in a world; back out and start a new one. All 3 levels are now unlocked.

Gives a status message, unknown actual effect

• CTRL+M causes "Gold Rush"
  
• CTRL+Q Enables all quests;
  
• CTRL+O Shows AI pathing points
  
• CTRL+P Shows AI path. Not sure on diff between +O and +P
  
• CTRL+B Crash block mode
  
• CTRL+E Level editor
