Description




The workhorse and the unsung hero of the SBF and DRO navies, the Providence Class Logistics Frigate has played a pivotal role in the ongoing war against the Terrans. Sparsely armed and essentially unarmored, the Providence Class is by no means meant for direct combat and should always stay well behind the front line. However, when it comes to fleet support, the highly versatile Providence Class more than makes up for its shortcomings. Propelled primarily by hydrogen, the Providence is well suited for any environment, and is capable of safely hauling one and a half times its own weight in cargo into orbit. In the null gravity environment of interplanetary and interstellar space, the Providence Class is capable of hauling much more, with a cargo capacity of over five million liters. Accordingly, the Providence Class is equipped with six jump drives to help transport all of those critical supplies from point a to point b. To further its capabilities, the Providence Class was designed with two, single craft hangars, which could be used to store transports, shuttles, fighters, salvage or repair craft, or miners. Situated directly above the port and starboard hangars are the Providence Class' two service pads, critical components to the repair of strike craft in combat situations, and long docking arms on either side of the Providence Class allow for docking and refueling a wide variety of ship hulls.

I just put a gravity generator perpendicular to the shipwide gravity field behind each elevator and set the fields to only be within the elevator, then used timers to control them.
