What This Mod Does
This mod replaces many ADVENT and alien units with equivalents from the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS) of Star Wars.

Currently replaced units are the:
  • Trooper
  • Captain
  • Stun Lancer
  • Shield Bearer
  • Priest
  • Purifier
  • General
  • Muton
  • Berserker
  • Andromedon
Weapons have also been replaced where appropriate with CIS E-5, E-5C, E-5S blasters and Electrostaffs.

What This Mod Doesn't Do (Yet)
This mod does not replace any units not currently listed, including the chosen. Development is ongoing and I should get to them eventually, provided I have a decent replacement for them. Psi units like the Sectoid or Gatekeeper will be particularly hard without completely replacing them.

Both are required as droid cosmetics from both are used to replace enemy units.

Compatibility
I've done my best to maintain compatibility with other mods. Changes are only cosmetic where possible, but when it comes to alien units it can be hard to reasonably straight replace their abilities. An example being the Viper's tongue grab. As such I cannot guarantee complete compatibility with mods that make major changes to aliens or completely replace them, however at worst you should only get some slightly weird ai behaviour or cosmetics.

ive tried this mod bit doesnt seem to work for me i got rid of it, and tried advent to galatic empire mod and that didnt work either any help would be appreciated.

Please show me a source of information, maybe a link to modmaking advent.

i want to replace advent model from character pool.

I've read that Advent and Xcom use different source of character's model. But author of his mod somehow managed to replace advent model.

For those trying to get it to show up in the 2k mod launcher

1. Go to your PC files > Steam > steamapps > workshop > content > 268500 > 1959410981
2. Then, open the Notepad that says AdventToCIS
3. Delete everything that is underneath the first Description line ( DESCRIPTION and below )
4. Save the edit
5. Refresh the modlist in the launcher. It'll be at the top listed as Advent to CIS

This was a trick I saw on an MWR SAS armour mod that worked on this one too when I tried it, I just had to find which mod folder it was in ( 1959410981 )
